It’s the first weekly edit of the year and I am so happy to be back at it! Happy new year, friends! I hope you all had wonderful holidays and carved out time to rest, relax and be with loved ones. I’m back in New York for a wee bit and when I am at home this month, I plan to fully lean into cozy season this month as much as humanely possible.

The Weekly Edit 1.9.26

WHAT I DID THE LAST COUPLE OF WEEKS:

• I spent a magical Christmas in The Cotswolds and NYE in London. I had the best trip and it was just what my nervous system needed at the end of the year. I can’t recommend Christmas in The Cotswolds enough – I was obsessed. If interested, I am here to help you via En Route to Rêverie.
• Created my 2026 vision board. I also looked back on each one since I started this annual tradition in 2023 and it was really powerful to see what all I had accomplished the last few years. Need help – here’s guidance on how to mood board.
• I made some site refreshes and updates to witwhimsy.com which always feels nice to do at the onset of the year.
• I did a little two night getaway to a great Rhinebeck hotel with Carly for our annual goal-setting retreat. I can’t recommend this exercise enough. We fully hone in on our goals and review our past years (there’s a whole document we fill out in advance!) and it’s so, so helpful to level set. (BTW here are some very handy prompts for goal-setting!)
• Went to see Two Strangers on Broadway and absolutely loved it – the leads are mega-talents. 

READ + LOOK + LOVE:

SHOP AND LOOK LOVINGLY:

• I updated my Shopbop Hearts and spotted some real gems like this Barbour x Ganni coat (so good!!!) and this new brown colorway of a bag I own in black from last Spring. Also spotted a great evening bag 30% off and my favorite midi dress I own in four (!) colors is finally restocked in navy! I recommend sizing up – I own size 8.
• This coat looks like my Toteme one but for a 1/3 of the price. From the same brand, loving the glam vibes of this faux fur coat.
• And in other coat news, I adore this wrap coat I got from COS. The weight of it (thanks to its double faced wool) and its design details are really chic. If you own the IYKYK boiled wool wrap coat I have been touting for four years (I wear a S) – you’ll love the elevated, slightly dressier version of this coat. I got it in a size M.
• The chicest hair clips I’ve ever seen.
• Lake Pajamas launched their Valentine’s Day shop and there are soooo many cute items in it for everyone in your family. I think the kiddo pajamas are particularly cute this year!
• These Madewell jeans look like the perfect straight leg. 
• This Staud dress is such a statement maker- I want a party invite just to have an excuse to buy and wear it.
• And in other dress news – my most worn shirt dress is finally back in stock in black after being OOS most of last year! I wear the L.
• If you want to start the year out with a new, chic work/travel tote – might I suggest this one?
• A strapless black column dress is one of my go-tos for fun evenings out and this one from Tuckernuck looks very similar to the two I own. 
• Doing Dry January? My favorite NA beverages I’ve ever tried are the CANN Drinks. The flavors are so, so good with Blood Orange Cardamom being my go-to but honestly I’ve liked all the flavors I’ve tried and just ordered their limited edition Ginger Lemongrass flavor they just introduced. The tonics are infused with a microdose of THC and CBD so you get the loveliest zen from each can.
