I first saw this coat when Kim styled it and I loved its classic appeal paired with more modern detailing like a high collar and well-placed zippers. When it went on sale after Christmas (60% off!) I knew I had to fill the void in my coat wardrobe and get this navy classic.

I’ve been so drawn to the combo of red, white and blue recently- having paired these colors together recently in San Francisco.

If you don’t yet have a pair of white jeans you love, now is the time. You can find so many on sale (including my favorite pair seen here!) While seen as a summer staple, I love styling mine throughout winter (see another look here.) Speaking of important things like pants, I have gotten the best responses from people that bought these after this post so if you haven’t gotten a pair yet – hop to – trust me, you will love them! (Of note, I was on the waitlist for them originally and they ended up coming so fast from Nordstrom!)

I’m now back in New York now after a long weekend out West. I had a rude awakening getting off the plane on Tuesday night and was forced to take out my layers once again! I keep telling myself spring is around the corner (so I can wear these and this.)
