Happy Friday from New York! It was so good to be home this week. The city had this delicious back to school like atmosphere and a few gorgeous crisp days of weather that made me so, so happy! The week was truthfully a blur as I attempted to get caught up on work after (some) time off, booked a variety of doctor’s and personal appointments I need to handle, I did a lot of laundry, sorted through (too many) packages that arrived while I was away and…then I got sick. Isn’t that how it goes this time of year!? I ended up at urgent care and had to cancel an event, fun dinner plans and several meetings as I tried to rest and recuperate to get over this virus as quickly as humanly possible. Needless to say I will be at home this weekend giving myself some much needed R&R.
I hope you enjoy this week’s edit and have a wonderful weekend!
The Weekly Edit 9.18.26
WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:
- Put the finish touches on the Fall Shopping Guide, my annual PDF of the best of the best of Fall fashion. It’s out next week for paid subscribers of The Noteworthy Edit, but right now I’m offering 20% off annual subscriptions which I almost never do. Upgrade now before it drops!
- Shared what went wrong on my vacation to Italy.
- I added a bunch of newness to the Noteworthy Right Now section of my ShopMy store front if you’re interested in perusing.
- It’s been insanely busy for En Route to Rêverie of late. Lots of Q4 plans and plenty of festive trips. We’re finalizing all 2026 trips in the coming weeks and are basically booked through the rest of the year unless you’re lookin just for Accommodations or a consult call! Wanting to work with us for 2027? The time to request for first-half of the year trips is *now*!
- Between the Fall-like weather and my cold, I was absolutely craving seasonal baking so I turned to one of my favorite baking cookbooks and earmarked at least three recipes I want to make in the coming weeks!
READ + BOOKMARK:
- Places that feel like old school New York. (One of my personal favorite vibes!)
- A 7 day high protein diet meal plan.
- When did having a normal life become a luxury? (loved this essay so much – really related to it in many ways.)
- The most underrated cities in Europe.
- This chocolate zucchini loaf looks so good.
- The beauty of seeing France by boat.
- Hotel amenities & features to keep and to cancel. (I need to do my own take on this – I have *a lot* of thoughts!)
- Staying invisible is costing you more than being cringe ever will. (Deeply related to this essay!)
- Auberge just shared that bookings are now open for their first UK hotel in London, Cambridge House. I had a sneak peek at the property earlier this year and I cannot WAIT to see the finished product when it opens next year. If interested in booking a stay, reach out to [email protected].
NOTEWORTHY FINDS:
- I popped into Zara while in Milan to buy a baby gift and got completely distracted by all the good outerwear! Favorites included this under $100 faux suede jacket and this one, too, this suede stunner, this 100% wool coat, this bomber jacket, this Barbour-esque coat, this on-trend and yet timeless trench coat and this satin number that I promptly bought. Added a variety of my favorites to the Under $200 shop as well for you guys to browse!
- The Sezane kids clothing is just.too.cute. I can’t stop buying it for my niece. How darling is this little jacket, this sweatshirt and this cardigan (which of course I bought for my niece and we’ve worn our matching ones since I own the women’s version :))
- I got some very good newness from Madewell’s latest collection and they are all on sale as part of their Insider Sale (!!!) – this plaid blazer (size M), these chocolate satin trousers (size M), this tailored jacket that’s so, so chic (sized up to a 10 so it laid flat across my chest while buttoned) and these great jeans that fit like a dream (size 29).
- This is such a cute new lounge set from Lake. And I just ordered this new set from them.
- Ooo the new olive shade of one of my most worn sweaters (size L) is so good.
- This new Fall fabric of my forever favorite midi dress!? SO GOOD. (I wear an 8).
- Petite Plume’s English Countryside collection is immediately making me want to buy a pair + book a trip to The Cotswolds in tandem. Particularly eying this set (the collar!!) and this set. And honestly I’d wear this set as non-pajamas.
- Sarah Flint’s new espresso calf shade of their Natalie flat is so gorgeous.
- Reminder to stock up on some good camisoles to wear under your favorite knits this season. I like to do this because I have a bigger chest and find wearing one helps knits to lay more flat.
- The DL1961 Hallie jeans in gray are some of my absolute favorites so I want to get this new dark wash that look perfect for dressing up. I wear a 29 in the style.
