I’ve been shopping Sézane for more than a decade now, ever since I first discovered the brand’s Paris L’Appartement store in 2015. Over the years, I’ve amassed quite a collection of Sézane coats, sweaters, blazers, trousers and accessories, but I continue to think fall is where the French brand shines brightest.
For Fall 2026, Sézane has once again leaned into what it does best: beautiful knitwear, tailored coats and jackets, rich autumnal colors and timeless pieces that feel distinctly French without being overly trendy. The brand also debuted a refresh alongside its Fall collections this year and the new direction feels elevated and fresh while remaining accessible and wearable.
I’ve updated this guide with the best pieces from the Sézane Fall 2026 collection, along with the tried-and-true Sézane pieces already in my closet that I recommend year after year.
Below you’ll find my favorite Sézane fall pieces, firsthand sizing notes and what I’ve personally bought from the newest collection.
Sézane Fall Collection
The Fall 2026 collection is particularly strong when it comes to outerwear, tailoring, knitwear and accessories. Below are the new arrivals that caught my eye most, including several pieces I’ve already added to my closet.

These are the pieces I think are particularly worth shopping from the Sézane Fall 2026 collection, including new coats and jackets, beautiful knits and accessories that feel especially strong this season.
Sezane Fall Favorites I Own
What I Bought from the Sézane Fall 2026 Collection
The Jonas Coat
I wear my Sezane trench coats so, so much and I loved the cool collar on this new style. I sized down to a 4 – the same size I wear in the Clyde Trench that I own in two colors.
The Chelsea Jacket in Prince of Wales Check
I own this blazer in a variety of fabrics now. I love the boyfriend vibe of it and how versatile it is to style. I sized up to an 8 so it would be oversized on me in this particular fabric and colorway.
The Alis Shirt
I love a fun cuff sticking out underneath a sweater or blazer so this shirt had to be mine. I sized up to a 10 in it.
I also bought and returned the Pio clutch. I wasn’t a fan of the size. As soon as the Jule Jacket is restocked I plan to buy it in the gorgeous chocolate shade.
Best Sézane Coats & Jackets I Own

Sézane Scott Trench Coat
This classic trench coat from the Sezane fall collection is one of my most worn pieces. It has a flattering fit and all the classic details you want, such as a tie waist and lapel collar.
I love the camel color and thoughtful details on this well-made investment piece that I know I’ll wear for a long, long time.
I size up in all Sézane Coats usually but I got this in my true to size size 6 (FR38) and it fits perfectly. It is designed to be a bit oversized which I appreciate as it makes it easy to layer over little jackets or bulkier sweaters.
In addition to the classic camel color, it also comes in a navy and a green.
This is one of my most worn coats and it always gets compliments. It is, of course, waterproof as well.

Sezane Clyde Trench
A more masculine, boxier trench that’s great for casual styling. This trench took over the internet two years ago and I can see why. It has a charming plaid interior and effortless cool-girl vibes.
I first bought the 6 and had to size down to a 4 and still find it rather oversized.
It comes in several colors. There’s a cute cropped version called the Bobby Jacket, too.

Sezane Michele Jacket
I own this blazer-jacket from Sezane in several colors and fabrics including the beautiful navy and love the fit of it.

Sezane Chelsea Jacket
Here’s one of my most worn Sezane styles for Fall. The Chelsea jacket in Ecru and Navy pinstripes. I’m wearing a size 6.

Sezane Jack Jacket
The Sézane Jack Jacket is so good. Part outerwear thanks to its 100% wool fabrication, it also feels like a great heavier blazer.
Seen styled with my favorite striped sweater. Wearing a size 6.
Sézane Christie Jacket
A timeless, well-made blazer with a flattering silhouette. I have it in a size 6 in both the camel and the black.
Best Sézane Sweaters & Tops I Own

Sézane Gaspard Sweater
I’ve now amassed a collection of a variety of colors of this versatile sweater from the Sezane fall collection, and every fall I pull out my collection to rotate in once again. I love wearing it both forwards and backwards.
It goes great with jeans, with printed pants and can also be worn over dresses or paired with skirts. Thanks to its lightweight weave it is also great thrown over your shoulders during cooler summer evenings.
It’s so feminine and I love the fit on it. I used to size down when it first was released 5+ years ago but now I believe they have righted the sizing and it runs more TTS. Thus, my subsequent purchases in this style have been a M vs. a S.
I also own the similar Barry Cardigan. It features a v-neck back instead of a scoop neck. I own the M.

Sézane Betty Cardigan
An instant bestseller when it launched, this cardigan jacket from the Sezane fall collection is a must-have. I loved mine in Ecru so much I bought the Navy right after. And then the Black! And then an ivory crochet version!
The knit material is so, so nice and I love this paired with jeans and with trousers. I find myself reaching for it constantly and often travel in it as well.
I sized up to a L in this style.

Sézane Tomboy Button Down
It’s often hard for me to find well-fitting button downs but my search ended when I found the Sézane Tomboy button down shirt. It’s the perfect fit and not too stuffy of a fabric.
It’s more-so a lived-in cotton fabric that takes down the formal factor in the style. I sized up to an 8 in this style.
Best Sézane Pants & Skirts I Own

Sezane Ciara Trouser
My favorite suede trousers from Sézane are the Ciara Trousers, which I bought a few seasons ago. I own a size 8 and had them hemmed by a tailor — I am 5’5″ for reference. They’re such a beautiful statement piece for fall and one I continue to look forward to pulling out every year.

Sezane Brut Sexy Jeans
These are a great skinny-meets-straight jean from Sézane. They have a slim, streamlined silhouette without fitting like a true skinny jean. Wearing a size 29.

Sezane Harlow Skirt
A classic faux leather mini I picked up last Fall. I’m wearing an 8.
Best Sézane Bags I Own

Sezane Gabin Bag
A do-it-all roomy tote in the most perfect suede chocolate brown.

Sezane Milo Bag
A great shoulder bag that is timeless, looks and feels designer and can easily be dressed up or dressed down.
It comes in a variety of colors.

Another great feature of shopping online at Sézane? The Sezane fall collection includes a French essentials collection. It is similar to the concept I shared with my French-inspired Fall Capsule collection here. All great essential pieces you’ll wear loads.

Sézane Fall Collection FAQ
What are the best Sézane pieces for fall?
If you were going to buy just a couple pieces I would prioritize the outerwear and blazers. I wear my Sezane Chelsea Jacket and Sezane Clyde Trench all the time.
Does Sézane run small?
In my experience, Sézane sizing varies quite a bit depending on the piece. I wear my true size in many of the brand’s coats and jackets, size down in intentionally oversized styles like the Clyde Trench and size up in certain trousers, skirts and more fitted tops. I’ve included my exact size wherever possible throughout this post to help with fit. If you’re between sizes or unsure, I often recommend ordering two sizes to compare since Sézane offers free returns.
For much more detailed fit notes across the brand, don’t miss my Sézane Size Guide.
Is Sézane worth the price?
I think Sezane makes excellent quality pieces that in my experience have held up with a lot of wear.

Thank you sweet friend!
What size Scarlett Jumper did you buy? I am a similar size to you. thanks
I got a M but am exchanging for a L! It’s a big more fitted than I usually would like
Hi Meghan!
Thanks for sharing; Sézane always has such beautiful fall clothes. I’m curious to hear whether you like the Leo coat. I ordered it in green but it looks like there was a customs issue and it never left France and is being returned to Sézane. I’m trying to decide whether it’s worth it to reorder & hope it makes its way successfully to me the second time.
Oh no! I’ve never had that happen but how bothersome. I really love it! I sized up to an 8 and it fits perfectly. It’s so chic on. I shot photos of it the other day but don’t yet have them back otherwise I would share with you!
Thanks for the response & I can’t wait to see the photos! I’ve never had that happen either and have ordered multiple times so I’m leaning towards reordering.
Keep me posted how you like it!
Such an informative post – thanks for the sizing details also (we are the same size!)
Meagan would love a post on your lovely handbags please – especially your Celines 🙂
I can’t tell you how much I appreciate these recos. I bought my first Sezane pieces based on your posts and love them all – the Gaspard sweater, the tomboy shirt and the striped tee. Gah I feel so chic, thank you for your style and wonderful approach. You have never steered me wrong!
This comment made my whole week, Leslie!! Thank you so much for it <3
