The Weekly Edit

October 2, 2026

Happy Friday from New York! Anyone else feel like they blinked and September was over!? I can’t believe how quickly it feels one of my favorite months went by. And now we’re in October which is historically a very busy travel month for me and I’m in major prep mode at the moment for a month’s worth of away time. All that being said, my nervous system felt like it was in overdrive with all the awful headlines this week, a ton of work and still recovering from drained energy levels following being sick last month.

I hope you enjoy this week’s edit (it’s a robust one!) and can have a restful weekend!

The Weekly Edit 10.2.26

WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:

  • My big denim haul + try on for The Noteworthy Edit led me to try on every pair of jeans I own and a few pair ended up in the giveaway pile as I edited my closet in its entirety the last couple of weekends. It felt so good to clear out tees and belts and pants and knits and pajamas that don’t get my attention and free up (a little bit of) space.
  • HART graciously invited me in to make one of their customizable charm necklaces and I shared my (nearly final) necklace over on The Noteworthy Edit this week! For those of you in NYC or visiting soon – their store is on Bleecker street and you can customize on-site bracelets and necklaces and I think the pieces would also make amazing gifts as we inch towards holiday season!
  • We on-boarded seven new En Route to Rêverie clients in the past week alone! Most are for 2027 trips in the first half of next year and a few are last minute festive trips overseas but we continue to be very busy on the trip planning front. And actually, four of these clients are repeat clients which just makes me so happy. I’m forever grateful for the clients who return to us to continue working together.
  • I went to Minetta Tavern which is my all time favorite restaurant in NYC. It is always so good! I also went to Edith’s new-ish West Village outpost and it was delicious. Their wrap sandwiches are tdf.
  • I made this easy and delicious turkey chili. Highly recommend.

The article about American travellers/tourists was very good. Thank you for sharing.
