Happy Friday from New York! Anyone else feel like they blinked and September was over!? I can’t believe how quickly it feels one of my favorite months went by. And now we’re in October which is historically a very busy travel month for me and I’m in major prep mode at the moment for a month’s worth of away time. All that being said, my nervous system felt like it was in overdrive with all the awful headlines this week, a ton of work and still recovering from drained energy levels following being sick last month.
I hope you enjoy this week’s edit (it’s a robust one!) and can have a restful weekend!
The Weekly Edit 10.2.26
WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:
- My big denim haul + try on for The Noteworthy Edit led me to try on every pair of jeans I own and a few pair ended up in the giveaway pile as I edited my closet in its entirety the last couple of weekends. It felt so good to clear out tees and belts and pants and knits and pajamas that don’t get my attention and free up (a little bit of) space.
- HART graciously invited me in to make one of their customizable charm necklaces and I shared my (nearly final) necklace over on The Noteworthy Edit this week! For those of you in NYC or visiting soon – their store is on Bleecker street and you can customize on-site bracelets and necklaces and I think the pieces would also make amazing gifts as we inch towards holiday season!
- We on-boarded seven new En Route to Rêverie clients in the past week alone! Most are for 2027 trips in the first half of next year and a few are last minute festive trips overseas but we continue to be very busy on the trip planning front. And actually, four of these clients are repeat clients which just makes me so happy. I’m forever grateful for the clients who return to us to continue working together.
- I went to Minetta Tavern which is my all time favorite restaurant in NYC. It is always so good! I also went to Edith’s new-ish West Village outpost and it was delicious. Their wrap sandwiches are tdf.
- I made this easy and delicious turkey chili. Highly recommend.
READ + BOOKMARK:
- 90s movies to get cozy with this Fall.
- We shared our next Entre Nous interview profile over on the En Route to Rêverie newsletter – I loved Leah Melby Clinton’s answers – she’s a true multi-hyphenate mom and builder and a beautiful writer.
- How to clean up your phone’s camera roll.
- I was nodding my head the whole time while reading my friend Whitney’s essay – I Like Americans, But I Don’t Like Bad Travelers.
- The world’s most beautiful thatched cottage villages.
- I am personally always fascinated by French craftsmanship traditions so I so enjoyed this video my mom found and sent to me about an incredible woodworking company operating in Paris.
- Investment purchases I always recommend (some may surprise you!)
- Having worked in beauty PR for over a decade, I always love seeing who is on Allure’s Best of Beauty Awards list.
NOTEWORTHY FINDS:
- Athleta is doing 30% off everything! This sports bra and these leggings are long-time favorites of mine, these pants and these pants look like they’d be great for travel days and I also love the look of this pullover and this sweatshirt.
- All week long I’ve been burning the new Hotel Lobby Texas Candle. It’s leathery and woodsy but warm and cozy without being overpowering. It feels absolutely perfect for the season.
- Lots of good new Fall finds added to my Noteworthy Right Now collection as I browsed the web this week!
- I popped into Mango this week and was really impressed with the shoe selection. They look well made and are all well priced I thought. Also saw this jacket IRL that I shared recently and it’s great looking and also this one looked really chic as well for Fall.
- I’m excited to share that Rhone just issued me a code for you guys to use on your first orders if you haven’t yet tried the brand! I have become rather hooked on their stuff lately with the ribbed featherweight tee (size L) being my all time favorite but I also love this polo pullover (size L), this anorak (size L), this sweatshirt and this coat (size S). Use code MEGHAND20 for 20% off your first order.
- Super happy with my latest Lake Pajamas purchase. The color is so good but the fabric!? Absolute buttery heaven. I got the size M. And in other pajama news, my Hill House nightgown I wore at Versailles has finally come back in stock! I have it in a L.
- Tuckernuck has some good newness in their Sport line like this pullover, this fleece, this windbreaker and this sweatshirt. And while you’re shopping their site – I just got this great cashmere crewneck (size L) with the sweetest sleeve embroidery and also this dress (size L) – the Evergreen color is just gorgeous in person!
- Couldn’t resist this barn jacket from J.Crew with its fun collar! I got a size M.
- And how cute is this plaid trench from Anthro!
- In my recent closet cleanout, I found these M.M.LaFleur pants and was reminded how much I love them. The fabric is great and they really are a wonderful dress them up or down kinda work pant. I wear a size 6. And, as I shared last week, this new knit tank I got from the brand recently is so good! A perfect, quality layering piece. I got the black in a size L.
- Spotted my living room rug on sale. I also have a rug from this brand in my bedroom and I’ve been so, so happy with the quality for the price.
- One of my favorite robes is also on sale right now.
