Until last year I didn’t own any midi skirts. This one was my first foray into this silhouette and I love how ladylike this shape feels. My sister always tells me to keep wearing this style so I listened to her and borrowed this Cynthia Rowley bright blue number from my roommate (roommates are the best for this reason I tell you.) Skirts like this were made for prancing along the streets don’t you think? (Another recent midi moment right this way…)
I’ve long loved Cynthia Rowley for her edgy, city looks that have the perfect dosage of femininity. Her current collection is nothing short of awesome and I as i was putting together this post, I kept finding myself adding things to my wish list (This look? Perfection.) My roommate wore the skirt with the matching crop top however to make this look appropriate for the office, I went to my trusty Banana Republic lace top that falls on the shorter side but doesn’t show skin. (Read my thoughts on dressing for your body type here.)
And speaking of midi moments…THIS SKIRT. I think my jaw dropped open when I saw it. Show-stopper.

This look is amazing. I LOVE that royal blue on you – and I agree, the black lace top is perfect!
Also, THAT CR SKIRT YOU LINKED TO. How do I achieve it without forking over $350 hard earned bones? I need to start saving, stat.
My roommate got it on sale so definitely keep your eyes out!
such a gorgeous look! Cynthia Rowley is one of my faves – love her pieces!
