Working two jobs (PR + blogging), I’ve mastered the eye makeup look I do every day. It’s quick, easy and able to be done at home or on the road and today I’m sharing the step by step to achieving it yourself!
Step One
Prep your eyelids so your makeup stays put once applied. I get staying power by applying this corrector topped with this eyelid primer.
Step Two
Use a simple palette like the Urban Decay Naked Basics for your base (more here on it). I layer color 2 with color 3 and then apply color 4 in the crease. If I want a bit more contrast, I’ll add this shadow in my crease. When on the road I use the Eco Tools travel brush set because it is so compact and has every brush you need to achieve this look.
Step Three
Apply a highlighting shadow up to your brow bone. I use the Stila Kitten shadow for this every time I do my eye makeup. It’s just the best out there for highlighting and adding the slightest amount of shimmer.
Step Four
Apply your eyeliner and mascara. I swear by this won’t-budge eyeliner (recently just professed my love here) and I’ve been wearing this mascara religiously recently. It makes for major lashes which I like paired with a more simple, neutral shadow color palette.
And there you have it! If you have an extra long day you don’t want to skip setting your look with this spray.

Special thanks to Eco Tools for partnering on this post.
I got my mom the Naked Basics palette and now I’m a little jealous because it really is a great palette for traveling and creating everyday looks! Love this easy look!
