Well, it turns out I’m getting even more seasonal use out of this sweater blazer than I thought! It is May and yet NYC has been experiencing temperatures in the 40s on.the.regular! Despite these cooler temperatures, I’m taking advantage of white denim season and I’ve been putting my favorite pairs of white jeans out on display of late.
While I tend to invest in my denim because I wear it so, so very much (see all my favorite pairs here), white denim is a bit of a different game given how easily it shows wear. It’s why I own the pair photographed here from Madewell because I don’t expect them to last past a couple of seasons. I also own J.Crew’s white denim – this pair – in a size 27. I wore them here if you want to see fit. (I almost always size down in J.Crew jeans.) To add a different style to my collection, I recently bought this kick crop white pair after a months-long search trying so many different brands in this style. I am so glad I held out as I really love this pair (seen here – wearing a size 28). I wear my other kick-flare or kick-crop styles so much that I figured having a pair in white would add some nice variety for Spring and Summer.
For an affordable, under $80 option – try Everlane’s denim. I’m a fan of their high-rise skinny but their kick crop is also super on trend and keeps selling out so they must be good! I linked some other good options below, too if you’re in the market for white jeans.
