I thought as I got older I’d have less weddings to attend each year but here I am with another four on my calendar for 2017! I’ve been in a wedding party eight times and been to countless bachelorette parties so I do know a thing or two about getting wedding-ready so today I’m sharing a ton of dresses for any you may have!
As soon as I bought this dress, I knew I’d wear it to a wedding and I also ended up donning it last Friday evening for a special dinner.
Picking out dresses as a wedding guest can be a little tricky as personally I want those I purchase to be able to work for other occasions, too! The below options are for those of you in the market for dresses to wear to weddings or other special summer soirees this season.
One thing I’ll say is that I think it is important to consider the wedding characteristics as you plan your ensemble. Are the bride and groom more laid back? Are the families hosting the wedding more formal? What’s the venue? Will you be spending anytime outdoors? Consider all these aspects before you purchase your dress.
Without further delay, below you’ll find my picks in a variety of categories that’ll hopefully be helpful no matter what kind of wedding(s) is on your social calendar this year!

Of all the ones included I really loved a few in particular. This one would make such a statement in any room, this dress comes in multiple colors and could be re-worn for showers, cocktail parties and more, this dress looks more expensive than it is and I love the length and this dress is so unique looking with such pretty detailing (it could also be dressed down with a denim jacket and flats.)

p.s. Nordstrom has a whole collection of wedding guest dresses, too! (Although it includes a lot of white dresses so that’s a bit weird but just ignore those :)) And ASOS has options for Maternity, Plus Size, Tall and Petite!
