I rarely wear looks with shorts on the blog because most commonly I shoot my photos before work and head straight to my desk in that day’s ensemble. This look is perfect for a summer weekend heading to brunch or outdoor rooftop drinks with friends.

I love Lilly Pulitzer’s embodiment of the summer spirit and how happy all her pieces feel. The line always reminds me of my godmother who first introduced me to the brand way back when. I went on to graduate college in one of Lilly’s designs and always turn to LP when I need a perfectly preppy piece to mark an occasion. This top is under $40, has the perfect flattering cut and comes in a variety of fun prints.

And I’m in love with this clutch. Could it be any more perfect for wedding season?
