Fashion Week Spring 2011: Nicole Miller

When it comes to being a designer, Nicole Miller has definitely been around the block a few times. She first launched her line back in 1982 and now boasts four major lines ranging from sportswear to dresses that are red-carpet worthy.

Her Spring 2011 collection was surprisingly delightful and breezy. Continuing with the sheer trend you’ll read all about from so many of the collections shown thus far, Nicole offset flowing fabrics with asymmetrical hems and cut-tape details on blouses and on the backs of many of the garments. The shoes may have been my favorite part (seriously, wanted every pair that strutted down the catwalk), but the entire collection was subtly sexy and very unique.
