My first stop in Miami was that of The Fontainebleau. I absolutely love that hotel – it’s Art Deco details, the food (amazing fish tacos), the staff and now, especially the spa. Lapis Spa was kind enough to invite me to experience two of their signature treatments and I proceeded to spend 4 blissful hours of resting, relaxing and indulging.
Bamboo Fusion Massage: This massage features the use of natural bamboo stalks and is equal parts relaxing as it is beneficial to your muscles. I emerged feeling energized and well rested.
The c.e.f. Facial: The second treatment I recieved was the classic european facial where my pores were revived and my skin got total TLC. My skin was cleansed, toned and overall revitalized. Just what it needed with this change of seasons!
The spa space itself is so impressive. Thousands of square feet, the spa is a true oasis. My favorite part? The steam room which is not only huge, but the steam is infused with eucalyptus every hour. The other best part? The attention to detail. Cucumber slices are provided to use in the steam room and fresh fruit as well as small cups of trail mix and orange-infused water and tea are ready aplenty. The showers are large with rain showerheads and the space to get ready after your treatments is roomy with blow dryers and styling tools at the ready.
Overall, it was a perfect start to my week down South and a big thanks to the team at The Fontainebleau for having me. If you can take a day to yourself, I highly recommend doing so at Lapis.
Art Deco heaven! Miami takes the cake on that. Looks amazing, hope it was a blast!
