Madewell skirt, Lia Kes tee, BR cardi, Silence + Noise blazer, Jeffrey Campbell heels, Hats in the Belfry hat (c/0), DKNY tights, vintage & David Yurman jewelry, Toy Watch
When I was young I actually considered hats a collection of mine. It quickly earned me the nickname of “Blossom” when I moved abroad to live in London, but I must admit that after quite the reprieve I am totally on board with working more hats into my ensembles of late. Case in point, with this mini pleat skirt from Madewell that could not be more fun to wear (we do love us some pleats). As Tracy Reese and Marc Jacobs showcased for spring 2011 this past September, hats are back this season. Fab hat website, Hats in the Belfry, was kind enough to send this cloche hat to me and it is the perfect topper to a feminine ensemble. I love how wintery it is with its velvet accent bow.
Precisely why I also wanted to give one away to one lucky reader.

p.s. how great are Jeffrey Campbell shoes? Just got these wedges from Urban Outiftters and am already slightly obsessed with the five inches of suede glory.
