My mom is not a big shopper. (We often joke about how my love for fashion and shopping must have skipped a generation!) But there are a few stores she and I have always enjoyed going to together. One of those is Cost Plus World Market so when I heard the retailer was opening their first New York store not too far from where I live I was overjoyed.

I’ve always loved their eclectic and unique merchandise and they were kind enough to invite me to shop the new Chelsea location before it opened to the public which was such fun. My roommate Alyson and I sipped wine, got to meet Kelly Osbourne (!) and pick out some items for our apartment to spruce up the place. There was so much good stuff it was hard to decide on favorites!

Isn’t the new store beautiful? Below is what I picked out though and also some other favorites from the store that you can shop online if you’re so inclined! I highly recommend the wine glasses – they are so chic and we’ve gotten so many compliments on them!

Of everything I bought I am IN LOVE with my new headboard. (I find it important to note that upon receipt of it, I assembled it myself…talk about a sense of #accomplishment!!) Doesn’t it look so nice? You can customize it in nearly a dozen colors, too. Obsessed.
