Happy Monday you guys! How was the weekend? I relaxed, spent time with friends, baked, spent time outside and tried out a new workout. I ended yesterday with a big pie from Lucali’s (it lived up to the hype but don’t miss getting the calzone – to die for!) and time catching up with girlfriends. It was exactly what the doctor ordered after a week spent battling a cold!
Today’s outfit is a little unexpected pairing. I love pretty much everything lace and as I was suddenly under the realization that the window in New York to wear boyfriend jeans will be slim before the colder weather comes, voila.
And these shoes, you guys I am so excited about these shoes! I’ve looked for years for the perfect Mary Jane and finally found them. I love the dual straps and the stacked heel.
Hope your week starts out on a great note! xx

More Lace to Love:
p.s. Fall budget finds and the sweater I can’t stop wearing.
Did you do take out from Lucali or eat in the reataurant? I didn’t even think about going on a sunday!
Oh girl it was still madness! We got there a bit before opening and were still told 2+ hours so we just did takeout, grabbed a drink nearby and picked up our food to eat back at my place!
Hi Meagan:
How do you find the fit of these jeans. I cannot find a pair of jeans that I like how I look. I am curvy fit — my legs are thick. I normally wear an 8 in pants but some styles 10. Let me know your thoughts.
Thanks,
A long time reader.
Hi Marianne! These are VERY slouchy – lots of wiggle room. My other favorite boyfriend jeans are by 7 for all Mankind and they are called the Josefina style. I hear a lot of great things about Madewell jeans – have you tried those? Other brands I love their jeans are Mother (expensive but I love them) and then Rag & Bone which always make me feel like everything is held in place 🙂
