Even those this outfit was shot a month ago – with the “whipping winds” we’ve been having in New York, the fall feels like a distant memory already – how did that happen!? I adore the fall so much so always want to savor it and there’s nothing like the second and third week of November in Central Park.
It took me years to finally make it to The Bow Bridge on the Western side of Central Park but man, is it a jewel in the park! In November it is surrounded by the most gorgeous colors from the variety of the trees and it is the perfect destination if you’re in the park with a friend for a long walk.
This particular morning I donned my Barbour jacket (last styled here) with the simplest of accompaniments – a striped tee and distressed denim (which I’m pretty sure would be my wardrobe if I had to wear only one outfit for the rest of time! Anyone else with me on that!?) If you’re looking for Barbour outfit inspo by the way, look no further.
With my time in New York this year winding down this week, I’m soaking up my last moments before heading to Colorado this weekend where I’ll be reunited with my family for some much needed catching up time.
For Colorado, my packing list is so simple. Aside from Christmas mass and a few dinners out, I’ll be living in my favorite cozy sweaters like this one and this one, my all-time favorite (and affordable!) leggings and my favorite UGG boots. I guess you could call me a bad blogger but this time of year I pretty much wrap up outfit posts as I don’t take any in Colorado. I try to revel in the downtime I have and every minute I get with my family so I don’t pack a bunch of coordinated outfits. While the backdrop would no doubt be beautiful, I just re-prioritize this time of year…(A few Insta-shorts of what I wore last year though can be found here.)
Hope you guys are having a good week! Now do tell…what are you guys doing for the holidays!? Where will you spend it and what will you do!?
