So without further ado…(p.s. shop each easily by clicking on the + sign in the image above, too!)
The first time I swiped on this Lipstick Queen pencil (a brand that was new to me) my first thought was “wow.” By the end of the day when it was still securely on my lips after coffee, lunch and endless amounts of talking…I thought “how did I ever live without this?” It’s designed to work like a lip liner and lip pencil in one and the matte finish on it is so good. I am now eyeing it in several more colors.
This color is one I’ve been wearing since my San Francisco days over 4 years ago. It goes on less bright than it appears above and is the perfect peach color that is bright without being too overwhelming for daytime wear. (It is more muted than it appears in this photo!)
Another lipstick I’ve been using for forever. I love it so much that I buy it in bulk for fear it gets discontinued one day. At $5 a pop, I’m allowed to be that crazy, right?
This past Spring I became very into nude lipcolors and after having worked with Laura Mercier on this project, I fell in love with her creme lipsticks and this is the perfect nude for me because it has the slightest hint of pink.
I am not a big lip gloss person but this one isn’t sticky so it goes on smoothly and lasts. This color, while shockingly pink in bottle, is actually perfect to dot over a more matte lip color when you want a bit of shine added.
