As we wind down the month of May (!!), it’s time for the next installment of Noteworthy and I hope you’ll enjoy this month’s collection of things I’ve really enjoyed.
Moment
I’m well aware that I spend way too much time on my phone. It is practically tethered to me unless I’m sleeping. So when I saw that this app tracks your time spent and habits and provides you insights into how you’re using your device, I was really curious. After a few days I was rather appalled at my behavior! I was easily spending over four hours a day on my phone and on average about 5 hours a day. YIKES! Having the app was super eye-opening and has encouraged me to put down my phone more often and get back to life instead of being glued to a screen.
Second Life Podcast
If you’re a podcast junkie like me and if you’re a fan of How I Built This, you’ll be a fan of Second Life. It’s done by one of the founders of WhoWhatWear/My Domaine and it profiles entrepreneurs who have pivoted in their careers. The episodes are concise making them perfect for your commute. I particularly enjoyed the premiere episode with Jen Atkin. (More podcasts I like here.)
Massage Ball
I bought this on a whim last year and it has become a lifesaver in the past two weeks as I’ve battled back pain. I’m already a huge fan of foam rolling but this ball allows you to be way more targeted in where you place it. It hurts so good. And my favorite part is that it is portable! It’s been in my suitcase my last two trips this month.
Trader Joe’s Cauliflower Gnocchi
When Alyssa posted a rave review of this veggie gnocchi on her InstaStories, I immediately was intrigued and set out to try it. My verdict: it is such a great pasta alternative. They managed to maintain the texture of pasta and once you add some red sauce you’ll be hard pressed to believe it is cauliflower and that the entire bag of this has just 500 calories. Better yet? It’s great the next day served cold. Secret is definitely out as on my last TJ’s run I had to inquire after inventory and then wait for them to get it out of the back – ha! I bought two bags and they were gone in no time. Highly, highly recommend you give it a go.
p.s. last month’s Noteworthy items and books I’ve read and enjoyed recently.
I keep seeing the ghnocchi on peoples stories, gotta try it!

My Style Vita
YES!!! And report back -I’m 99% sure you’ll love ’em!
yay! thanks for the cauliflower gnocchi shoutout. 🙂 I swear, from the feedback I’ve gotten, I have probably influenced more people to purchase them than I have influenced anyone to buy any single outfit or beauty product on my blog! (LOL)
You really were spreading the good news lol!
