Should an almost 30 year old be mildly obsessed with rompers? (Don’t answer that!) Because, I really am this season. They make getting dressed so easy. Before I went to Grand Cayman (see here, here) I went to Aritzia and bought this jumpsuit and also this romper worn here. It’s perfectly draped in the right spots (read: love handles / un-toned tummy) and the silk crepe material is extra forgiving (you can wear it on the hottest of days and not have to worry about sweat marks #realtalk.)
And a quick word about these Anyi Lu shoes, given I spent nearly one third of my life in California, I am always eager to support and rep Cali-based brand. When Anyi Lu reached out to share more about their story, I was instantly drawn in to learn more. Her shoes are all crafted at factories in Italy that have been owned by the same families for over 50 years with much of the hand sewing happening in the homes of those who have been making shoes for generations. I’m wearing the Alexa shoe and the craftsmanship is beautiful on these shoes. I also love the gold heel and the fact that they are a fun take on wearing a modest heel height.
I hope you’re having a good week. Stay tuned for an extra outfit post tomorrow and a fun post on summer entertaining and later this month I have 2 (amazing) giveaways coming to continue the celebration of this month’s re-launch!
