Well, folks, we’ve reached that point in winter where I feel as though I’ve exhausted all my wardrobe options. I don’t want to buy more sweaters or layering pieces or coats because it seems like a silent admittance that there’s way more winter ahead. And sure enough…there’s certainly a lot of snow, wind and freezing temps ahead but I’m coping with my closet MVPs.

Closet MVPs are those pieces you come to rely on over and over again. And ever since I discussed my beliefs on investment pieces for this season, I’m trying to practice what I preach. Case in point: this outfit. My black silk blouse never lets me down (I have it in white, too) and is ideal for layering under sweaters and this lace crop top changes the look. And these boots remain my favorites, three winters later.

And how cool are these BaubleBar earrings? I am in love. I have only ever had my ears pierced with single holes and was actually considering getting them double pierced until these earrings showed up. I am obsessed with how delicate they are.

After this week’s drama, I am counting down the hours till the weekend. While I’ll be working on Sunday, I’m planning to use the rest of the time to get my $hit together after last weekend’s festivities.
