gray matters

After loving this Anthropologie dress, I wanted to get my hands on another similar silhouette and this Clu dress with the pleated lining fit the bill perfectly. It’s perfectly cozy and yet feminine. I only recently discovered Clu but love the obsession with ruffles (I seriously could lose my mind buying up their ruffled sweatshirts- they’d be so cute with deconstructed denim and booties). I rounded up my favorite pieces of their below.

And onto accessories…during New York Fashion Week I went to a great event hosted by Gigi New York and Yosi Samara and picked up this little monogrammed pouch – I’m in love! (This Gigi bag is on my wish list currently). Paired it with a new pair of Joie heels because I can’t get enough of how comfortable their shoes are (other favorites here and here). They make all this city walking a breeze (no, but seriously).

I am back from a quick trip to Cincinnati and counting down to a low key weekend – I am in need of some R&R and I think I may take myself out with one of my favorite dates…New York City itself!

Outfit: Clu Pleated Sweater dress, Joie Elaine sandals, Gigi New York clutch (c/o), BaubleBar necklace, Ice Watch, Ray Ban Aviators, David Yurman ring

  2. Laughing right now because I have an outfit post coming up that is nearly identical (except it’s a sweatshirt!) best way to make a summer dress ready for Fall!
