I first tried these Joie shorts on back in San Francisco in the caviar color but then decided to pull the trigger on them for my trip to Europe. The weather abroad didn’t end up warranting shorts-wearing but I love them for the chic fabric and sleek over-sized pockets. It’s no surprise Joie is my favorite given I wear it a lot but they have loads of great shorts right now I recommend- you can see them here. I never wear shorts to work so they are strictly weekend wear for me but I’ve allowed my collection to grow this summer given all the 90-degree+ days. Who makes your favorite shorts?

And now…is it Friday yet? This week has been a doozy and I’m tres ready for the weekend. I’ll be toting this Kooba ‘Jax’ bag everywhere – the brand was kind enough to send it my way just before I went to Paris so I threw it in my suitcase and it is such a great size and shape with pockets galore. Perfect for every day or for travel.
