When I first read about Urban Decay’s All Nighter spray in Rachel Zoe’s The Zoe Report a few weeks back, I will admit I was completely skeptical. A mist for over your makeup once it’s completely in place? A liquid sprayed onto your face after all your hard work that won’t make it look splotchy or uneven? Can it be true? Naturally, I had to set out to find out.
Urban Decay was kind enough to send over a sample to review and after a whirlwind day of traveling to LA last Thursday and having to practically go from airplane to rehearsal dinner, I decided there was no time like the present to give this little spray a test run.
All Nighter mists on, ensuring that your makeup won’t budge for 16 hours. And guess what? They aren’t lying. Really. The mist is weightless and boats what Urban Decay describes as a “temperature control technology” that was developed to keep your makeup from melting down when it’s warm and humid, or dehydrating when its cold and windy. Ah yes, this is pure makeup genius.
My friend Annie even commented that upon arrival in LA I looked “fresh-faced” and after using it again today for work, I can attest that this little miracle bottle does in fact deliver. Only negative? The packaging could definitely use some updating as it almost looks like it’s a trial bottle that hasn’t yet been mass produced. The label appears rather dated and definitely does not do its contents justice.
Also available in Dew Me and De Slick, these dreamy little products retail for $29. You can see a video on how they work their magic here, too.
