Ok we admit it, we’re one of those girls that washes her hair every day. We know, we know – that’s equivalent to a cardinal sin as we’ve been told time and time again that shampooing and conditioning everyday actually does more damage to your hair than if you wait a few days in between washes. We’re lucky enough to have hair that can be worn curly (aka no heat products) so at least we’re trying to keep it healthy on that front. But recently we’ve been hearing more and more about dry shampoo products that promise to wisk away oil in your hair between shampoos – without reeking of the traditional baby powder solution.
Shape Magazine even dedicated a whole section on hair care to dry shampoo products in the July 2009 issue. But how do each of these products stack up? With so many options out there, we’re not sure which one to pick. We’ve tried Oscar Blondi’s dry shampoo spray and were only mildly happy with it. We’re on the hunt for the dry shampoo that will help us quit our addiction to shampooing daily – we’ll be sure to keep you posted.
Any suggestions? We’d love to hear what you use!
Seriously changed my life: Rene Furterer Naturia Dry Shampoo – the only way to go!
thanks lady love – going to have to try it out!
I love dry shampoo! The Oscar Blandi one is really good. One word of warning: Do NOT get the Bumble and Bumble dry shampoo…it is HORRIBLE. It is more like hairspray and just leaves your hair sticky and stiff…ick
good to know! Thanks for the tip Lizzie 🙂
OJON. No other dry shampoo compares. Light, not flaky, gives great volume and doesn’t mask shine. Once you go Ojon, you’ll never go back.
Batiste is my fav! I’ve tried a bunch of different dry shampoos and this one is the best for me. Comes in a few different scents like blush, tropical and regular. And, it’s less than $15!
Ohhh I’ll have to look for this one too. Less than $15 is def a good thing and I like the multiple scents!
I prefer KLORANE dry shampoo (can get it at Sephora). It has a light & pleasant smell, super easy to blend in, and doesn’t leave a weird residue-ish feeling!
