Today I am so excited to be sharing my first collaboration with the French brand Sézane. In my many years of shopping the brand (first in France before they came to the United States), I have amassed a wardrobe of many of their beautifully made, special feeling pieces. I reach for them time and time again.
With the arrival of summer, Sézane has released their summer collections with beautiful dresses, lovely fabrics, bright and playful patterns perfect for vacations this season and loads of good bags and sandals that will be on repeat in the coming months no doubt.
Sézane Summer Favorites
Today I am sharing two summer looks I styled from the newest Sézane collections and also sharing some of my other favorite pieces perfect for this summer season. At the bottom of the post I have also rounded up all my favorites from the current collection available online and in the brand’s select stores.
ABOUT SÉZANE
If you’re not familiar with the brand, it was started in Paris in 2013 by Morgane Sézalory. Sézane refers to themselves as the first French fashion brand born online. They design beautiful pieces that are meant to last and that you’ll want to pass on someday. They aim to focus on responsible and ethical production so you won’t find them over-producing and marking things down. They very rarely discount so the prices that you see are usually what they are.
The brand has committed to using eco-friendly materials (3/4 of their materials are considered eco-friendly as of 2021), reducing the amount of packaging used and they have recycled more than 13,000 pieces through their recycling program. More than 13 000 pieces have been recycled. The brand also has a philanthropic program called DEMAIN (this means tomorrow in French) which has raised millions of euros and works to support dozens of charitable organizations and thousands of children.
The brand has grown from just womenswear to encompass shoes and accessories, home goods and they launched a menswear brand, Octobre in recent years as well. Last year they announced they will soon have kids, too which I am so excited to shop for the little ones in my life!
Sézane Summer Looks
Dorotha Dress
I love a feminine bow-shoulder dress and this one has smocking at the back and a slit that isn’t *too* high.
I also own the Dorotha Dress in black! I wore it when I hosted an event at the Sézane store in New York City earlier this year.
Carmela Platform Sandal
These sandals are so fun and so comfortable. I hadn’t worn a high block heel in a while so these felt a little out of my comfort zone but I adore them.
Carmen Pouch
How beautiful is this new Sézane bag silhouette? Meet the Carmen Pouch with woven raffia and leather. This would be such a good bag to bring to weddings this summer! Fits a lot and so beautifully made.
Rosella Dress
This flattering linen dress with a square neckline and subtle slit is the perfect summer silhouette.
I sized up to an 8 in this style.
Justine Basket Bag
The perfect French basket bag. I love that the brand has released this bag in so many sizes and color options. It comes with a little pouch inside to keep your valuables tucked away and I love the multiple strap options built-in as well.

The Caprice Dress
Sézane does eyelet so well and I adore this fun and flouncy mini dress with a full skirt. I sized up two sizes to a 10 so it was a bit roomier in the chest.
Fausto Trouser + Marzia Shirt
I bought this fun lace set after seeing a friend wear it in Navy.
Wearing an 8 in the top and bottom but could have taken the top in a 6.
Michele Blazer
The perfect year-round blazer. You can wear it with jeans or I think it would be so cute styled with denim shorts, too.
Wilfrield Denim Jacket
An essential summer layer – the denim jacket. Wearing the M.
Mini Milo Bag
An instant classic, this Sezane bag is sleek, timeless and comes in a variety of sizes and colors. I have the mini in the cognac color and the regular size in black but I love the cognac color for summer in particular.
I love that you can adjust the strap length as well!
Chiarella Dress
A beautiful column dress with buttons adorning the front. Due to the fabric this dress would actually be great year round.

The Colette Mariniere Striped Tee
A French girl and guy staple – the essential striped tee. I love the delicate buttons on this one on the shoulder and the fact that it comes in so many colors!

The Tomboy Button Down
The Sézane Tomboy shirt is a French Icon. It is the best casual button down I’ve personally ever tried. In a great lightweight, softly washed fabric, it is so versatile for styling. It’s been a wardrobe staple for me for nearly a decade.

It now comes in all kinds of colors, embroidery prints and stripes.
The Vic Dress
A button front midi dress with sweet bow ties on either sleeve. Wearing size 8.
I also just bought this top (size 8) and these trousers (8) because I loved how the outfit looked on the website! They are both so great.
A word on Sézane sizing:
I find nearly all French brands to run a bit snug so I always size up. Especially if you have a bigger chest as many French brands don’t design for larger chests. If you’re unsure on sizing, I recommend ordering two sizes to be sure as Sézane offers free return shipping.
The brand has expanded sizing in recent years on select items and I’m hopeful they’ll continue to do so.
