How was your long weekend? Despite not over scheduling myself, it went by in the blink of an eye! The highlight was seeing an acupuncturist who left me feeling so excited for treatment to hopefully help some chronic health issues I’ve dealt with for over a decade. I also actually had time to watch some movies (did anyone else really like The Martian?), make some homemade meals and spend time with girlfriends. It was pretty close to perfect. What did you do?

As I mentioned in this post, I’ve been trying to shop less this year and make use of what is already in my closet. I believe in buying investment pieces so it makes this a bit easier because when you have a favorite pair of jeans that always makes you feel good when you put them on and boots that are your favorites, you always want to find excuses to wear them. Topped off with this coat (that’s now on sale if you’re interested! I’m wearing a size 2 and get so many compliments on it!) and simple jewelry of this necklace with the coordinates of Paris on it. It’s under $40 and makes such a great gift, too.
