Styling a Duster Sweater

I’m a big fan of a cozy coatigan but until I picked up this duster cardigan I didn’t own a sweater of this length. I actually brought it to Paris in October and wore it with flat boots and sadly that had the sweater looking more bathrobe than duster so for the next time I donned it, I re-jiggered the look.

When wearing a sweater of this length, having some heel height on your shoes is essential I learned. It’ll ensure your legs look longer and the sweater doesn’t become over-powering on your frame. For this outfit I cuffed my jeans and paired them with booties with a serious heel and then added a blanket scarf to up the cozy factor. I got so many compliments on how comfortable I looked in this and that’s just what the duster cardigan is made for! I love the silhouette and the comfort factor and I rounded up my favorites below for easy perusal. I elongated the look even further with a pom pom hat – ha! It’s currently 50% off (and comes in two other colors!)

How were your weekends? I can barely walk after SLT, SoulCycle and hot yoga! Attempting to start the year strong (and also knowing I’ll be veering off course when I head to CA this coming weekend!) I also saw Misery on Broadway on Friday night thanks to an invite from Bekka and we got to meet Bruce Willis afterwards! Talk about a fun way to kick off the weekend. The show was so spooky but so good!

I hope you had a great one. Be sure to pop back tomorrow as I’ll be sharing my top 10 beauty discoveries from 2015!
