I bought this cape for a trip to Europe a year and a half ago and then admittedly forgot about it! So often New York weather is all of a sudden freezing that I’m reaching for my bigger jackets but with some of the beautiful “warmer” weather we’ve had in New York, I was able to pull it out.

After two weeks in grey and rainy California, I was welcomed back to New York with weather in the 60s on Saturday! It was the perfect cape weather.

These photos are from a neighborhood in Brooklyn I only just discovered: Carroll Gardens. It’s so beautiful over there! I’ve been spending more time in that borough and am loving exploring some newer spots. (Remember my bucket list?)

How was your guys’ weekend? I was so happy to be back in New York! I had friends in town so started both Saturday & Sunday with fun brunches, caught up on some work, did a little retail damage and ran errands. (STILL trying to find an alarm clock! They are all either obnoxiously loud or obnoxiously ugly – OY!) I hope you all had a good one. ps. did you watch the Oscars? Who did you think was best dressed?!
