I first styled pieces from Cooper + Ella here and here and frequently find my eyes wandering to their affordable and on-trend pieces. Take this white tank for example that I styled with a tweed blazer and denim shorts. It has awesome cutouts that’ll make it the perfect Sunday-in-the-park kind of top or to head out to cocktails on a warm evening. And this rose dress? I’m obsessed. (The subtle cut out in the back is my favorite part.)
In honor of their recent launch at Nordstrom this week, I’ve teamed up with the Cooper + Ella team to give you the chance to win a look from their latest collection! Details to enter are below.
To get down to the really really of this week, in all honesty I’ve been feeling pretty uninspired and burnt out. Between work + all I’ve taken on in terms of working with brands on some upcoming projects and the giveaways to celebrate the new look of this ol’ site, I’ve been running on empty all week it feels like. I have had very little sleep, lots of stress and been managing to nit-pick everything I’ve been doing. (Who else when they are stressed tend to nit-pick everything they do? Seriously I’ve been emotionally bullying myself this week – ridiculous!)
I’m hoping that next weeks trip to California is just what this soul needs to press “reset” and come back to New York to reassess and reevaluate some things. In the meantime, I hope you’re having a great week and thank you for supporting the site redesign this past week. I hope you love it as much as I do and can’t wait for all that is to come the rest of this year!

Let me just say that you have become my all time favorite fashion blogger! Your personality is just so sweet and your outfits are always on target and actually wearable! I have never kept up with a blog regularly before Wit & Whimsy, but every time I see that subscription link in my inbox – you can bet that I don’t hesitate to click it. In fact I might even be guilty of stalking your blog or at least catching up. Anyways, I sincerely hope that you have a wonderful trip to California and that your travels leave you feeling refreshed and inspired. Just relax girl – you deserve it. Fingers crossed that the weather here clears up for your arrival. It’s been unusually cool and cloudy in the LA area, but knowing you – you’ll probably be bringing the sun with you! Best wishes and safe travels.
P.S. Thanks for the giveaway!

Thanks so much, Karen – that means a lot! Hoping to get just what I need out on the West Coast 🙂 Appreciate the uplifting words!
You look great!
Thank yo, Nina!
The Cooper and Ella line is adorable-perfect for work or play. Thanks for introducing readers to the line!
I’ve been off the grid lately (fam trip to DC) – where in CA are you going? If it’s SF and you’d like a free coffee from a fellow blogger, let me know! 🙂 Would love to meet up and show you around SF a bit!
Also, YES on the nitpicking. Good grief. Also, stress eating? Which also leads to more self-nit-picking? I’ve realized SLEEP is the god of all things and sometimes I need to stop forcing it and just go to bed early, even if I toss and turn for a bit. I always wake up feeling slightly more clean-slate-y about life. 🙂
