When you move to a new city it can be overwhelming to try and replace all the things you had become accustomed to. One such thing? Hair stylists and colorists! Therefore I was thrilled when the team at Ted Gibson invited me to come down to their Flatiron salon for a cut and color. I learned right away that the team there is dynamic, enthusiastic and extremely talented. You’ve most likely seen or heard about Ted from TLC’s What Not to Wear or the multitude of other press his know-how has landed him and there’s good reason for it.
The fun and spunky Jill Engelsen was tasked with chopping my locks and giving me a new look and she dove right in and decided to model it after Ted’s recent do on Brooklyn Decker. Meanwhile the sweet and delightful Ronnie gave me a much needed blonde-boost (sadly the lighting in these photos doesn’t properly capture it). I’m super happy with the outcome and loved my time at their salon. If you’re in New York, you should absolutely pay the TG salon a visit.
See more shots of how my hair turned out here and a huge thank you to Jill, Ronnie and Bari for their hospitality and killer work!
