One goal you hope to accomplish this year: just turned 40 and lost myself with kids , marriage , life. Want to try to put myself at the top of my list again without sacrificing kids and husband . But if momma ain’t happy , nobody is happy!! It is so true ha.
A trip you can’t wait to take this year: Taking our kids to Disney . We haven’t been in 4 years and we are all super excited

The anxiety battle is real! Do you do meditation? The breathing techniques I learned from it has been a game changer for me when I feel stressed or overwhelmed. And how amazing that you are doing that work in your community to help children – you’re amazing!
Banff is amazing! I was there last year for Labor Day and dream about going back. Congrats to you and your husband on your anniversary!

Favorite book you read last year: “I’ll Be Gone In The Dark” by Michelle McNamara or “Bad Blood” by John Carreyrou – so many good ones, I love seeing your suggestions! Had many books on my reading list last year from your blog.
One goal you hope to accomplish this year: Continue going to spin! I started at the end of last year and found out I really love it – planning to try your month of ClassPass to get some more classes in.

A trip you can’t wait to take this year: I already took it! I went to London earlier this month and being the musical theatre lover I am, I managed to watch 5 shows in 4 days. As my AirBnB host said: wow, you’re really committed!
Something making you excited in 2020: Doing more of what makes me happy. I’m very good at putting other people’s needs before my own, especially in the workplace, and last year, I learned the hard way how important it is to put my own needs first every now and then. So this year, I look forward to being a little more selfish and go after what I want more often.

A trip you can’t wait to take this year: For work – Cairo (fingers crossed, since my leadership is a bit skittish about sending me to that region right now). For fun – It’s a bit of a tie between 1) Italy, either Rome or Tuscany, followed by a quick side trip to London; and 2) a return trip to coastal Maine, which I fell in love with last summer.
Something making you excited in 2020: I’ve been working on expanding my social circle and deepening friendships away from the circles I’d built over most of my life in my hometown. It’s bearing fruit, and I feel blessed by these relationships.
TV show you’ve been watching & loving lately: Re-watching seasons of Psych on Amazon Prime. It’s goofy and non-stressful, which I need right now!

Probably discovering the magic that is Louise Penny. She writes mysteries that have murders but aren’t really dark, if you can believe that! She’s a super lyrical and compulsively readable writer.

Build my confidence as a new mama and wife while trying to not sweat the small stuff. And of course seeing my dear friend, you, over coffee in the nabe!

One goal you hope to accomplish this year: Run a Marathon! I signed up for one in May. I’m having some IT Band problems right now so training is paused but I’m feeling hopeful that I can start training again soon.
