It has been forever since I’ve rounded up the beauty products I’ve been loving recently so I’m excited today to be bringing you The Beauty Edit featuring some really good finds that I highly recommend.

Province Apothecary Full Brow Serum: I bought this serum out of anxiety after getting a bad brow tweeze back in February. The person tweezed them to tiny little rows andI proceeded to panic. I thought upon buying this serum “how good can it really be?” and I have to say, I was impressed. After several weeks of applying it 3-4 times a week, my brows were noticeably fuller. I’m still using it as I build up to my next brow appointment which I can ensure you will not be at the same place as before – ha!

Dermalogica Precleanse: After getting an amazing facial from Dermalogica the other week in Soho, I came home with this product and was wondering how necessary a step it really was (my skincare routine already contains a lot of steps) but it has come in handy in a major way on days when I wear a bit more makeup. (Particularly eye makeup). First things first: it smells amazing and it works in seconds. Rub it in all over your face and it’ll get rid of the day’s stubborn makeup, oil and dirt and basically clears up your skin to be prepped for your cleanser to really go to work. I love this stuff. It’s not an everyday product for me but on days with a more full face, I’m actually excited to use it (and that’s saying something, isn’t it!?)

Oribe Cote D’Azur Body Creme: I am so not a body lotion girl. It is a beauty routine step I skip constantly. Truly, if I manage to put product on my body after I shower I am congratulating myself the rest of the day. I don’t know why but it may be because I hadn’t found anything I really loved until I started testing this body creme. Not only does it smell like a luxury vacation, it is completely non-greasy and non-sticky so putting it on feels less like a chore than most body products. It leaves my skin crazy smooth and not overly fragrant.

NARS Free Soul Blush: This is a limited edition blush so I’m already considering buying a backup because without fail every time I use it, I get compliments. Friends are always saying I look so “glowy” or “fresh faced” when I began using it the other month and now I am hooked. It gives this super satiny yet subtle pink glow that smooths over skin so easily and really does make your face light up.

Laura Mercier Secret Brightening Powder: If I went to update my holy grail beauty products this is the first product I would add. As someone with oily skin makeup doesn’t like to stay on my face so if I didn’t take precautions half way through a day I could use a real significant round of touch ups. This stuff magically sets concealer while also brightening under your eye so you look more awake. It leaves the smoothest finish and ensures your carefully placed concealer stays put all day. I use a little brush to tap it on under my eye after applying concealer.

Giorgio Armani Luminous Silk Foundation: I had heard this foundation raved about for years and years and so finally decided to give it a go when Giorgio Armani did a pop up in Soho for the holidays and I have to say, I’m so impressed. Sometimes I look at photos when I am wearing it and truly can’t believe how radiant my skin looks sans-filter. It just has a way of making skin look way more “perfect” than it is. It brightens and really gives your skin a smooth finish so it has become my go-to for for all days I’m taking photos or having a day with lots going on. It is definitely on the pricier side but I think it’s worth it.

Almay Oil Free Makeup Eraser Sticks: I can’t believe I didn’t know these existed until this year! These little genius sticks are essentially q-tips with makeup remover in the end so you can seamlessly fix any little mishaps that occur while applying eye makeup without any messy steps. As someone who consistently messes up eye liner upon application, I find these little guys life savers.

Smashbox Photo Finish Primerizer: I’m constantly testing out primers and I like that this one has a moisturizing effect as my skin can often use an extra does following moisturizer. It also dries super fast so there’s no waiting time to apply your foundation. Skin is more smooth and instantly prepped for the rest of your makeup. (I tried this after a YouTuber I love kept talking about it and I think it is indeed a great reco.)

Makeup Eraser Sticks! What! I’m so excited to know about this. I always get mascara on my eyelids when applying (just above the lash line, which makes it so hard to wipe off!) and I try to use q-tips and end up smudging it more. May have to give these a try, thanks for the rec!

You’re having the same reaction as me when I discovered them and I love it haha! Truly they are little lifesavers so you don’t have to start all over again after a mishap. (Totally feel you on the mascara-eyelid transfer situation). If you end up trying them do let me know!
