The Weekly Edit

August 22, 2025

David Austin Roses

Happy Friday! I had a productive week at home and enjoyed a few moments poolside while also enjoying a bit of feels-like-fall weather here in New York. Relatedly, I have been deep in Fall-mode this week. I am prepping a bunch of posts for both here on w&w and The Noteworthy Edit for next month and the forthcoming season is looking so good! I’m excited to shop for Fall with some of you in NYC in September, too. Who is coming!?

I hope you enjoy this week’s edit and have a wonderful weekend!

NOTEWORTHY FINDS TO SHOP:

  • Set your alarms for this Sunday as Sezane is doing their first Fall drop and from the sneak peeks seen on Instagram it is going to be g-o-o-d. As many of their Fall pieces do, many will likely go fast so it’s worth a browse first thing Sunday A.M. when you wake up! In the meantime, if you want to add some classics to your cart now, check out my recently updated The Best Sezane Essentials Guide.
  • CANN is doing a limited time sale offering BOGO 30% off this weekend only. These cannabis beverages are one of the best discoveries of the year for me – I absolutely love the instant wind down and the Grapefruit Rosemary and Blood Orange Cardamom flavors. I placed a restock order myself. (Or use my code WITWHIMSY20 if you don’t want to BOGO).
  • Sarah Flint is doing their best sale of the year – 25% off sitewide which means you can grab one of my favorite pairs of these investment shoes at a great discount.
  • Hill House is doing an extra 20% off select sale styles with code BYESUMMER.
  • Just re-upped on my forever favorite wrinkle release spray. Not a week goes by where I am not using this stuff!
  • Spotted Crest Whitestrips back on sale. I have used these for over 10 years – just a few treatments and you’ll notice a difference and even with my sensitive teeth I don’t have an issue with this particular SKU!
  • Spotted some very good newness at Zara for both now and the coming months like this darling butter yellow midi dress, this chic suede coat, these slingbacks, this jacket (!!! so good! I saw it in store, too and it is gorgeous) and this polka dot dress and this one, too.
  • Ok for all my girls who are part of the *the* J.Crew trouser crew – they released the pant in a new textured satin and I ordered them immediately, obviously and they are great! A bit dressier given the fabric but the same fit and feel we all love. Size 8. I also got this dress from their new arrivals which is cute and perfect for late summer dressing (size M).
  • An immediate yes to this new colorway of one of my favorite, favorite sweaters from La Ligne.
  • If in the market, this looks like a great work tote from Tory Burch.
  • So many great new colorways in one of my favorite sporty sneakers from Adidas!
  • Also, I spy loads of new colorways of the La Ligne Colby Pant I own in black satin and love. They are so easy to wear – dress ’em up or dress ’em down. I own size M.
  • My favorite midi dress I own in multiple colors is restocked in the gorgeous brown that sold out pronto last year! I wear the size 8.
  • Just picked up this button down from AYR I’ve been eying for forever. Fits TTS – took a M which still looks oversized yet chic on my frame. The brand has a lot of noteworthy staples pieces if you’re looking to build out some wardrobe building blocks. I’ve been really happy with my purchases from them over the years.
  • I realize we’re still aways away from chunky knit season but I already can’t wait. I just ordered this one that looks perfect (and comes in so many good color options). Also from Frank + Eileen I own this knit (size M) and it is great and this easy, breezy set that is versatile and great for warm-weather trips (size M as well).
  • Spotted these beautiful suede boots I’ve owned for years now 30% off!
