You know how we’ve swooned over Lauren Merkin’s fab bags before? Well now you have a chance to win one of your very own!

Three lucky winners will win the Lauren Merkin clutch of their choice when they enter the freshly launched “Once Upon a Clutch” contest. Entrants upload a picture of their New Year’s Eve outfit, describe it, and then specify which style and color of clutch would have made their ensemble the stuff of fairy tales.

The submission period ends January 16th 2010 and voting begins January 18th. Winners will be selected on January 31st by a panel of qualified Lauren Merkin judges based on criteria such as (but not restricted to):

a) most votes
b) most rocker/edgy
c) vintage/retro
d) most elegant/sophisticated
