If you know me well (or read this blog often), you know I’m a big beauty product junkie. I love adding new items into my rotation, finding new favorites and testing out products. The top of my dressar looks like it could be on the set of a photo shoot for how much I have piled up and laying around. But while I have certain go-tos, I certainly love finding new favorites like those seen here. This Benefit mascara is A-mazing (so good in fact that it’s sold out on Benefit’s website!) and this Essie polish has since earned its spot amongst my other favorites.

This summer I decided I wanted my nails and my lips just as bright as my clothes (like here and here). I just picked up this Dior Addict lipstick today at Sephora and already can’t wait to pair it with a gorgeous Velvet by Graham and Spencer dress I scored at Shopbop recently (see here). These Essie shades are my go-tos each summer (as mentioned here) and I’ve been slicking on NARS’ great glosses in a hot pink for an easy pick me up throughout the day.

Hope you all had a fabulous weekend! Mine was spent strolling an UES outdoor street festival, celebrating two good friends’ birthdays, seeing old friends from college for cocktails and a yummy brunch at Nolita House, shopping in Soho, afternoon vino, Shake Shack and an improv comedy show in which a friend of mine performs. It was a great, great New York weekend.

Go Shorty

I’ve long been looking for the right pair of wintery shorts to be able to don over tights and finally decided on these little guys from Forever21 not only because the price was right, but because they mimicked these Elizabeth and James ones almost perfectly (at a fraction of the price, but of course). As I mentioned earlier this week in an outfit post, the weather here has been divine, but I’m still living in tights pretty much. When it comes to having to dress more warmly in New York, you can bet I’ll be throwing on my trusty blazer and rocking this look.

Snagged this Rebecca Minkoff 3-zip rocker this week as well thanks to BFF Andrea. Can’t quite seem to ever get enough of her.

In other news, my apartment is all packed up and my movers collect all my stuff today and thus begins my 2 weeks of living out of suitcases – oh the joy! Wish me luck amidst all this moving madness.
