File this skirt under: most fun piece of clothing to wear ever. 

It is appropriately named the ‘Car Wash’ skirt and couldn’t be more fun shimmy in. How fun is the movement on it when you walk!? I love how Bekka captured it swishing.

I’m not one for boring pencil skirts. I don’t own any. I’m much more inclined to find a skirt that can take you from your desk to drinks and has a more interesting component to it (and I got so many compliments on it at work!) Other examples include lace or a a bold color or a cool asymmetrical hem (I rounded up 15 cool skirts below for your shopping pleasure!)

When we shot these photos I had an early appointment uptown and Bekka and I had so much fun shooting in Central Park in the prettiest morning light. I’ve never experienced Central Park so calm and peaceful in my life. I mentally noted to make early morning visits there more regular.
