Blazer and boot season is officially upon us. You guys know I live for this time of year when I get to pull out my fall/winter wardrobe staples that make for a formulaic way to be put together and stylish without a lot of thought. Today I’m thrilled to be collaborating with one of my all-time favorite brands, Everlane, to style their newest blazer styles alongside two boots from their collection. I’m also sharing other pieces that make for great wardrobe staples you’ll wear loads in the coming months.
Everlane is most likely my most worn brand and I’ve blogged about it consistently since shortly after the company made its debut in 2010 (I first wore their tees in 2012!) I love their reliable, quality pieces and that they are committed to transparent pricing and sustainability.
I first wore an Everlane blazer in this 2017 post and it is still a favorite of mine. The Grey Herringbone Oversized Blazer was their first blazer release. Well made and perfectly oversized so it is part blazer / part coat on warmer Fall days.
The new blazers are beautiful and included in the newly released color options in the Oversized Blazer is this chocolate houndstooth which is full of beautiful Fall tones. I knew it would pair perfectly with one of my favorite cashmere pieces – the Everlane cashmere shrunken sweatshirt in ivory that I also own in black and have raved about many times before (most recently here). I reached for my favorite pair of Everlane jeans that I always recommend to people looking to try out their denim and then topped off the look with their new Western Boot. This boot is as comfortable as it is on-trend. I didn’t have a boot in this style. And I think it works so well for both casual work days and weekend Fall outings. I love that in comes in three colors options!
For a casual yet put together workwear look, I styled the new double breasted blazer in grey herringbone with a classic blue jean and my new boot obsession: Everlane’s boss boots. These boots are so sleek and so comfy. And yes, definitely make you feel like a boss ready to take on your day. I’m a long time fan of Everlane’s footwear because they are so well made. They truly last and come in stylish silhouettes that are rather timeless. Their modern loafer is one of my most worn shoes that I’ve had since 2015 and still wear almost weekly. It is always in my suitcase for Paris trips, too. Finally in this look, the blazer is topped over one of Everlane’s newest cashmere sweaters, the lantern sweater. It has the prettiest blouson sleeve.
On cooler days you can layer the Everlane cashmere scarf atop the outfit. I’ve owned this scarf for years now and still always reach for it.
. . .
So now tell me: Which look do you love? From those I styled, what’s your favorite? Cannot wait to hear your feedback on these two looks!
Look 1: The Oversized Blazer in Chocolate Houndstooth / Windowpane (Size 2) // Cashmere Shrunken Sweatshirt (Size L) // High Rise Skinny Jeans with Button Fly (Size 28) // The Western Boot (TTS) // The Day Tote Mini
Look 2: The Oversized Double Breasted Blazer in Grey Herringbone (Size 2) // Cashmere Lantern Sweater (Size M) // High Rise Jeans in Mid Blue (Size 28) // The Boss Boot (TTS) // The Soft Day Tote (recently seen here)
I also bought the Oversized Blazer in Glen Plaid last month and am looking forward to wearing it all Winter as well. It is the perfect black + white plaid. Next on my Everlane list? This cozy waffleknit turtleneck I want to wear all Winter and also the beautiful camel color version of my favorite loafers that would pair so well with some of my ivory sweaters.
