I’m excited to unveil my sixth (!) annual gift guide devoted to fellow Francophiles! Not sure what a Francophile is? It is someone who loves all things French. Culture, recipes, traditions — you name it.
And after all, what’s not to love about being a Francophile? I first fell in love with the French way of life and the country’s food and culture when I was just a little girl and my love for the country has only grown since then. You can find all my content that’s dedicated to my love of Paris here. In fact, it’s what lead me to starting my travel atelier, En Route to Rêverie!
I hope you find the perfect French-inspired gift for the Francophile in your life to transport them to the City of Lights.
This is a favorite gift guide to put together, particularly because I think there is a fine line between chic Francophile gift ideas and kitschy Francophile gift guides I see put together this time of year. I strive to have this guide feature the best French-inspired gifts from my favorite brands and small businesses that are all chic and fun ideas for that Francophile you know and love.
Gifts for the Francophiles
1. Eternally Ritz Book
There’s truly no place in the world like the Ritz Paris on the Place Vendôme! I’m dying to flip through this gorgeous coffee table book that highlights the history, architecture, and luxury of this iconic French hotel.
2. The World of Atelier Vime Book
Atelier Vime is an iconic Provence-based home decor brand and this brand new book tells the story of how they came to be. Today interior designers and celebrities alike flock to La Maison Vime in Vallbrègues to shop their handwoven decor and furniture. This book looks stunning and is perfect for the wanderlust friend who loves the South of France.
3. Trudon Josephine Candle
A couple years ago I learned about the fascinating history of Trudon candles and in producing this video I ended up buying my niece’s namesake candle and I love burning it. It has notes of Bergamot, Kaffir lime and warm spices. These candles are pricey, but they make a special luxe gift. The canister is so striking and can be repurposed after the candle has been burned.

4. La Ligne Lean Lines Sweater
Every Francophile needs a classic striped sweater, and this one from La Ligne is one of my favorites! It’s such a special brand with classic and timeless pieces. I own this in a variety of colors and size up to a L.

5. Diptyque Scented Matches
Last year I was introduced to scented matches and they are so wonderful.
I’m a sucker for a chic matchbook, and I love that these ones are scented with fresh, tangy citrus notes. At $30 these would pair nicely with a candle for a chic French-inspired gift.
6. Trudon Scented Wax Cameos
These petite wax melts with hints of citrus are so elegant and a favorite gift of mine to give. I use mine in my lingerie drawer and my travel cases for my undergarments.
You can also use them in a candle warmer, or splurge for Trudon’s stunning diffuser (seriously, what a work of art!)
7. Caudalie Hydrating & Nourishing Hand Cream Trio
The Caudalie gift sets offer such great value and I actually always grab them this time of year so I can travel with minis of all my favorites. This nourishing hand cream trio is a lovely way to infuse a bit of luxury into the day!
This particular gift set even includes a full size Beauty Elixir which I leave on my bathroom sink and use every night! Plus two of my other hero products are also included.
8. Paris Ball Cap
This hat gives me Celine vibes and I love the washed, pre-loved look of it that makes it perfect to pair with all your athleisure looks you wear when not in Paris. The perfect gift for your Francophile friend who loves fashion.
9. Le Marais Parisian Croissants & Jam Box
What’s more French than waking up to freshly baked croissants? I think food gifts are a great option for those hard-to-shop-for people in your life! I can’t speak to the quality of these in particular, but for a baking enthusiast I would also recommend my friend Molly’s online French baking courses!
10. En Route to Rêverie Gift Card
Know someone going to France (or England) soon? Give the gift of a perfect trip! We would love to work with them on their trip and offer customized, personalized recommendations to make their trip extra special via a gift card you can buy for them now and have put towards their future trip.
11. ba&sh Meredith Jacket
One of my absolute favorite French fashion labels, ba&sh makes iconic French-girl wardrobe staples like this super chic cropped jacket. (I own this in three colors and counting!) I wear a size M.
12. All The Restaurants Parisian Café Sketch
How gorgeous are these prints featuring some of the city’s most famous haunts? There are tons of cafés and restaurants to choose from (plus spots in London and NYC as well!)
13. Sézane Claude Crossbody Bag
Sézane is another French fashion brand on heavy rotation for me. This classic leather crossbody is a fall and winter wardrobe staple, and a fabulous splurge gift.

14. Dior Cuticle Cream
I think this little luxury makes a great stocking stuffer from an iconic French brand! I gifted it to my sister last year myself.
15. Bonjour Tile Mug
This art deco inspired ceramic mug is so pretty and only $14! Pair this with a gift card to a local coffee shop for a thoughtful gift for the Francophile in your life.
16. Hotel Lobby Paris Nuit Candle
My friend Lindsay makes the most delicious candles inspired by her love of travel. This scent is inspired by “the feeling of sipping a stiff cocktail in a smoky Parisian bar.” It’s sultry, sensual, and slightly masculine and I adore it!
