I’m excited to unveil my seventh (!) annual gift guide devoted to fellow Francophiles! Not sure what a Francophile is? It is someone who loves all things French. Culture, recipes, traditions — you name it.
And after all, what’s not to love about being a Francophile? I first fell in love with the French way of life and the country’s food and culture when I was just a little girl and my love for the country has only grown since then. You can find all my content that’s dedicated to my love of Paris here. In fact, it’s what lead me to starting my luxury travel atelier, En Route to Rêverie.
As someone who will forever find inspiration in all things French — from the art of living to the little luxuries — this is my ode to Parisian style, timeless elegance, and the daily rituals that make life feel just a bit more elevated. I hope you find the perfect French-inspired gifts for Francophile in your life that transports them to the City of Lights.
This is a favorite gift guide to put together, particularly because I think there is a fine line between chic Francophile gift ideas and kitschy Francophile gift guides I see put together this time of year. I strive to make gifts for Francophiles feel elevated by featuring French-inspired presents from my favorite brands and small businesses that are all chic and fun ideas for that Francophile you know and love.
Gifts for Francophiles
1. Hotel Lobby Paris Nuit Candle
My friend Lindsay makes the most delicious candles inspired by her love of travel. This scent is inspired by “the feeling of sipping a stiff cocktail in a smoky Parisian bar.” It’s sultry, sensual, and slightly masculine and I adore it. (And for the Anglophile in your life, don’t miss the London candle!) I return to this one again and again. Pairing it with some custom matches personalized to the recipient would also up the chic factor.

2. Murray’s Cheese “The French Connection” Gift Box
This perfectly curated box of French cheeses from Murray’s Cheese is an instant crowd-pleaser for the French gourmand in your life. Think creamy brie, nutty Comté, and tangy goat cheese — all best enjoyed with a crusty baguette and a glass of Burgundy. Then add a jar of fig jam and you’ve recreated the perfect Parisian apéro at home. (Who wants to get this for me!?)
3. Typology Advent Calendar
This minimalist’s advent calendar from one of France’s buzziest beauty brands is sure to be a hit! It’s packed with clean, vegan formulations spanning serums, oils, and also masks housed in chic, eco-friendly packaging. There was a 22,000 person waitlist for this item heading into the holiday season, it’s that coveted.
4. Dorie’s Anytime Cakes Cookbook
Beloved James Beard awarding winning cookbook author Dorie Greenspan brings her signature magic to this new release! It’s a collection of effortlessly elegant bakes with a French twist. From buttery financiers to tender madeleines, it’s a gift that will inspire endless cozy afternoons à la française.
5. Guerlain Customizable Lipstick
What’s more French than the perfect shade of red lipstick? Perhaps a customized lipstick case to go with it! Choose from French beauty brand Guerlain’s chic new cases (each one a collectible) and a nourishing lipstick refill in your recipient’s signature shade. The result? A truly bespoke gift they’ll cherish for years to come.
6. En Route to Rêverie “Demi Sel” Hat
From my travel atelier En Route to Rêverie, meet the cheeky Demi Sel Hat — a nod to my endless love for French butter. Perfect gifts for Francophiles who appreciate a wink of humor with their style, it’s equal parts Parisian and playful. We’ve just restocked a limited quantity in time for the holiday gifting season.
7. All The Restaurants Parisian Café Sketch
How gorgeous are these prints featuring some of the city’s most famous haunts? There are tons of cafés and restaurants to choose from (plus spots in London and NYC as well!)
8. La Bonne Brosse L’Universelle Hairbrush
Handcrafted in France, this brush from La Bonne Brosse is as chic as it is effective. Made to gently detangle while boosting shine, it’s become a cult favorite among French beauty insiders and It Girls! Each brush is also a work of art thanks to its sleek, minimalist design. This was one of my favorite new beauty products I tried last year and has become a favorite gift of mine to give to girlfriends.
9. Simone Pérèle Satin Robe
Elegant, timeless, and impossibly soft, this satin robe from iconic French lingerie brand Simone Pérèle makes for a luxe gift. Add a glass of Champagne, then run the bath, and call it the gift of self-care!
Use code WITWHIMSY15 for 15% off at Simone Pérèle.
10. Chanel Beauty Essentials Gift Set
Few things say “French elegance” quite like Chanel, and this gift set delivers. It includes their Rouge Coco Baume hydrating lip balm, their nourishing hand cream (a favorite of mine!), and their protective and the long-lasting Le Vernais nail polish in ballerina pink.
11. Bonjout Beauty Le Balm
This multi-purpose balm from cool girl French beauty brand Le Balm is a clean beauty standout — hydrating, nourishing, and perfect for travel. Use it on cheekbones for that lit-from-within glow or as an overnight skin savior before bed. Use code MEGHAN15 for 15% off!
12. Clarins Cryo-Flash Mask
I love, love, love the tightening effect of this mask! Perfect for the Francophile who loves to indulge in self care and will appreciate this iconic French cosmetics company.

13. Embroidered Merci Beaucoup Sweatshirt
This embroidered sweatshirt is subtle enough to be cute without being tacky. It’s also under $100!
For something more elevated, La Ligne makes some of my favorite French-inspired striped sweaters. Use code MEGHAND10 for 10% off at La Ligne.
14. Le Marais Parisian Croissants & Jam Box
I think food gifts are a great option for those hard-to-shop-for people in your life! I can’t speak to the quality of these in particular, but for a baking enthusiast I would also recommend my friend Molly’s online French baking courses.
