Gifts for The Francophiles I wit & whimsy

I’m excited to unveil my second annual gift guide devoted to fellow Francophiles! This is now my favorite gift guide to put together – and especially this year as it has allowed me to find items that will transport us all to France during a year we’ve not been able to visit. This guide features the best French-inspired gifts from favorite brands and small businesses alike. Hope you find something perfect for the Francophile in your life to transport them to the City of Lights!

Not sure what a Francophile is? It is someone who loves all things French! Culture, recipes, traditions – you name it. And after all what’s not to love about being a Francophile? I first fell in love with the French way of life and the country’s food and culture when I was just a little girl and my love for the country has only grown since then. You can find all my content that’s dedicated to my love of Paris here.

Gifts for the Francophiles:

1.Staub Round Cocotte.

This one of my favorite purchases of 2020! Such a quality piece from a famed French brand that you’ll have forever making it a generous, timeless gift for any Francophile.

2. Emile Henry Scalloped Pie Dish

While 2020 may have turned out to be the year of bread, I have a suspicion that 2021 may be the year of pie. I just bought this one so I can attempt to make my first pie!

3. La Cuisine Paris Virtual Cooking Classes.

These are my favorite cooking classes to take when I am in Paris and they’re hurting having to have been closed for so much of this year. But they offer virtual classes so get a gift certificate to get your French foodie fix!

4. Madeline Pan.

I think this is on my personal list for 2021 as I would loooove to have fresh, warm from the oven Madelines in my home one day!

5. Emile Henry Baguette Baker.

For the adventurous Francophile looking to make baguettes at home in this Made in France tray.

6. Dried Lavender Bundle.

petite piece of Provence to last all year in your home.

7. Mini Chocolate Croissants.

Psst…the Williams Sonoma frozen croissants are really good! Surprise any Francophile foodie wishing for the good stuff this Christmas with these minis.

8. Harney & Sons Paris Tea.

The perfect stocking stuffer for a Francophile.

9. Saint Laurent Card Case.

I have this in black but totally swooned over this new color! A luxe gift for a Francophile you want to spoil.

10. Rebecca Plotnick Paris Print.

My friend Rebecca is a really talented photographer and sells her gorgeous photography inspired gifts on Etsy. This print in particular is one of my favorites.

11. Drinking French: Drinking French: The Iconic Cocktails, Apéritifs, and Café Traditions of France by David Lebovitz.

I bought this book just before lockdown and it led to my Let’s Make a Drink IGTV series that I had so much fun with during the pandemic shelter in place. This is SUCH a fun book and it’s not just for cocktails- the author also covers coffee traditions and more.

12. Christophe Robin Purifying Salt Scrub

A favorite gift of mine to give to girlfriends this scalp scrub feels like a luxurious spa treatment in the comfort of your own shower.

13. French Girl Organics Body Glow Oil.

For those I vacationed in the South of France vibes from the comfort of your own home.

14. Croissant Stationery.

The stationery I designed this year with The Illustrated Life makes the cutest gift and can be personalized with your Francophile’s name or a cute French phrase like Bonjour or Merci! You can buy it here.

15. L’Occitane Advent Calendar.

24 tiny gifts in 1 from a favorite French brand!

16. Oui Please.

These darling gift boxes pair together loads of items perfect for any Francophile.

17. Caudalie Vinoperfect Gift Set.

This set features so many of my Caudalie favorites! Perfect for your Francophile friends looking to start a solid skincare routine.
