I’m excited to unveil my third annual gift guide devoted to fellow Francophiles! This is a favorite gift guide to put together – and especially this year as it has allowed me to find items that will transport us all to France during a time when many haven’t been able to get back there. This guide features the best French-inspired gifts from favorite brands and small businesses alike. Hope you find something perfect for the Francophile in your life to transport them to the City of Lights!
Not sure what a Francophile is? It is someone who loves all things French! Culture, recipes, traditions – you name it. And after all what’s not to love about being a Francophile? I first fell in love with the French way of life and the country’s food and culture when I was just a little girl and my love for the country has only grown since then. You can find all my content that’s dedicated to my love of Paris here.
Gifts for the Francophiles:
1. Sezane Striped Tee
A tried and true French classic – this one is so good I own it in multiple colors. Sezane makes some of my favorite Francophile inspired essentials and the quality of this tee makes it a great gift you know the recipient will get a lot of wear out of. It’s rather fitted so recommend sizing up.
2. Sezane Black Bag
A more luxury gift if you’re searching for one, this bag is under $400 but looks designer and you know will be a classic in anyone’s wardrobe for generations to come.
3. Saint Laurent Card Case
A luxe gift that’ll get every day use. I bought this as a gift to myself in 2018 and have used it every day since.
4. Perigord Wine Glasses
These classic wine glasses make such a gorgeous gift at under $50. They come as a set of 6 and are the perfect gift to make someone feel transported to a Paris cafe.
5. Paris, Perfected Gift Card
Know someone going to Paris soon? Give the gift of Paris, Perfected! I would love to work with them on their trip + offer customized, personalized recommendations to make their trip extra special. I just launched gift cards this year so I’m so excited about this offering! They are now available in denominations that will also allow you to purchase my newly launched Paris, Perfected Guides!
6. Christophe Robin Salt Scrub
A favorite gift of mine to give to girlfriends this scalp scrub feels like a luxurious spa treatment in the comfort of your own shower.
7. Hotel Lobby Paris Nuit Candle
My friend Lindsay makes amazing candles and her Paris Nuit one gets all the sexy, subtle notes of a magical night in Paris right.
8. Mariage Freres Tea
A classic tea by a heritage French tea brand.
9. Williams Sonoma Croissants
Psst…the Williams Sonoma frozen croissants are really good! Surprise any Francophile foodie wishing for the good stuff this Christmas. These are a staple on our family breakfast table every Christmas and they never cease to satisfy.
10. Caudalie Vinoperfect Gift Set
Caudalie cult classics in one handy gift set for the Francophile who loves skincare.
11. Madeleine Pan
I learned to make madeleines this year and it’s such an easy afternoon activity that reaps major rewards. Inspire the French baker in your life with this thoughtful gift. And you could even give them some baking supplies along with it!
12. La Porte Bonheur Print
My friend Landen is a beautiful photographer and captures Paris She offers a variety of prints but I am partial to this one of Place Dauphine.
13. French Pastry at The Ritz Paris
The Ritz Paris is one of my happy places on earth and their pastry chefs are magicians. If you have someone in your life who loves to tackle a challenge and wants to peek behind the doors of the kitchen at The Ritz, this book is the perfect gift.
14. Drinking French
I bought this book just before lockdown last year and it led to my Let’s Make a Drink Instagram video series that I had so much fun with during the pandemic shelter in place. This is SUCH a fun book and it’s not just for cocktails- the author also covers coffee traditions and more. A great gift for any Francophile.
15. French Pastry Made Simple
My friend Molly came out with her first book this year & her recipes are less intimidating and just as delicious as you’d expect them to be! And don’t miss Molly J. Wilk Virtual Pastry Classes, too! Join Molly live online for a little sweet escape to France to learn how to make fabulous French pastries. The classes are for all baking levels, taught in English, and full of helpful tips.
16. Croissant Dozens Book
One croissant dough but dozens of extraordinary creations is what this book will offer to any Francophile who loves baking up French treats. Bring.on.the.butter!
My friends at La Cuisine Paris also have gift certificates available if you know someone heading to Paris and would be interested in taking a class!
