As I shop for new pieces for my Spring wardrobe, I always look forward to seeing what J.Crew drops – in particular just as we are all planning for the summer months ahead full of plans. I feel that J.Crew this year has been particularly good and I loved seeing what the new collection held.
The brand just dropped over 500 new arrivals and as part of a collaboration that I did with them over on Instagram, I went through each of the items to curate the finds I love the most to share with you guys. And in better news? They are running a 40% sitewide sale that kicked off today!
At the bottom of the post you can also find the items I have added to my cart. As always, I am drawn to stripes, linen, eyelet and pretty, feminine pieces that feel special but also versatile for the warmer months ahead. I will also say that I think the J.Crew Bags this season are particularly good!
In addition to sharing my favorites from what’s new from J.Crew below – I also wanted to spotlight some of my personal favorite styles that they are once again carrying. Below I rounded them up with photos of each so you can see how I styled them and get a better sense of fit. If you have further questions, feel free to drop them in the Comments.
You can always shop My Closet and also find more affordable Spring finds in my Amazon Shop and my Under $100 Shop as well.
Current J.Crew Spring Favorites & What I’m Buying
J.Crew Elena Shirtdress
How perfect is this midi shirt dress? The full skirt had me adding it to my cart immediately. It’s a perfect lightweight cotton so I know it’ll get use all through summer. The white is a bit sheer so I am wearing a slip underneath.
I found it true to size and am wearing a 6. It also comes in a pattern, black and green if those are more your speed!
I added these woven ballet flats to up the springtime vibes. I love the warm weather take on the ballerina offered by this pair.
J.Crew Edie Top Handle Bag
New favorite bag of the moment alert! I have always wanted a cute little top handle bag shaped like this so I was so excited that J.Crew expanded their Edie bag styles with this one.
The ivory is going to be so good for pairing with all my favorite spring and summer dresses and I haven’t stopped reaching for this bag since it arrived. Black is also available.
J.Crew A-line Linen Midi Dress
I was torn on whether to pick this up in white or black but in the end opted for black as I think it’ll be a good dress come sweaty summer days. I sized up to an 8 as I almost always have to do in button-front garments. I definitely recommend sizing up if you have a larger chest.
You can wear it with a belt as I did as it comes with belt loops and I chose a dressier heel but I also think this dress will be so cute with flat sandals, ballerina flats or sneakers.
If you’re in the market for a good straw tote, this one from J.Crew is great. It comes in several colors, fits so much and is lightweight and easy to pack down flat for spring and summer getaways.
Over my shoulders I draped the J.Crew cashmere cardigan that is perfect for versatile styling. I sized up to a L in it.
This adorable striped Lady Jacket.
I sized up to a L as I think it runs rather snug / cropped. Had my name all over it, right?
It now comes in loads of colorways and stripes.
This linen button down.
I sized up to an 8. This shirt also makes for a great cover up over swimsuits! It’s been a staple in my closet since I got it back in 2020.
All of J.Crew’s new linen collection is worth exploring this season.
This slip dress.
Comes in several colors! I’m wearing a 6 but I’d size up if you don’t want it too form fitting. It pairs well with a denim jacket over it, a lady jacket or even with sandals and a cardigan tied around the waist for a more casual look.
They have a new polka dot version this season I am already eyeing.
This classic denim jacket.
Wearing a M.
This cashmere layering tee.
I also own it in Navy. It’s so great under blazers and cardigans. Wearing a Large.
This slip skirt I own in four colors!
I size down to a size Small. It now comes in so many fun, bright colors for warmer weather.
And they now offer it in a linen, too.
This cropped cashmere sweater.
Recommend sizing up! Wearing a L. It now comes in loads of colors and several stripe colorways, too.
Seen styled with the aforementioned slip skirt.
Drapey trousers
And while not really Springtime-y, don’t miss picking up my most worn pair of pants of the last year and a half.
These drapey trousers have the best fit, are so comfortable and are my preferred pant for trips these days. I sized up to an 8. They’ve been the number one bestseller with you guys for a while now so I’m so glad so many of you have already snagged a pair!

This looks so great on you! I bought the tiered dress in black and wanted to love it, but I was bummed to see that they did a slip lining this time instead of the fully lined version like last year. I find slip linings so difficult to keep looking neat and in place. But I’m loving that v-neck back top and a couple of their other dresses! xo
Thank you!! I didn’t know they had a version last year!
It was basically the same, but had little embroidered flowers on it 🙂 It came in like a mustard yellow and navy and I LOVE the navy. Was so excited for solids! Might have to give it another shot after seeing you in it…
I just purchased the wide leg Italian linen trousers in navy, along with a navy cashmere tee. They’re the perfect transitional pieces and look equally great with my monochromatic white chucks or chunky heels. I also grabbed another (I have three already) color of their rauched bandeau one-piece swimsuit. It’s the most flattering suit! I have gingham, black, Burgundy and now a sunset pink.
Oh I am so glad to hear this! Need to add the Italian trousers to my list!
Hi Meghan. Love all your picks. Some dresses are just too long as I’m. 5 ft tall. What brand were the black bow slides yiu have on with the slip skirt. I’m like you crazy for bags and shoes. Also have you checked the Lila P tops and sweaters they are great Thanks Amy
They are Loeffler Randall – from a few years ago back though!
So many great pieces in this post! Especially love the lady jacket on you, so chic! Do you know if the cashmere tee ever goes on sale? I have had it in my cart for a while now, waiting, but it is always excluded, so I was wondering. Thanks!
I know j.crew only discounts cashmere a couple times of year I’m afraid!
Hi beautiful Meghan! Always love reading through your sizing reviews prior to ordering an item of clothing that you’ve recommended! May I ask how tall you are? ??
I am 5’5″!
