June Beauty Edit I wit & whimsy

I have some fun, larger beauty posts coming up (including my long-awaited holy grail beauty products and some good swaps to make for summer) but today I’m excited to be sharing my June Beauty Edit! (Two of which would definitely be #holygrail status for me) – enjoy!

Verb Hydrating Hair Mask:

I don’t suffer from very dry hair but every now and then I feel like it could use a little boost of moisture (especially given I color and heat-style my hair.) This hair mask has to be one of my favorites that I’ve ever tried. The formula is weightless, the texture smooth and easy to apply and the results = manageable, super soft stands. Even better? It’s vegan and gluten-free.

Eve Lom Kiss Mix Tinted Balm:

If Eve Lom does one thing well, it’s their balms. (Their cleansing balm was one of the OG balms) and now they have these adorable and super-effective lip balms that I can’t stop using. I went to an event last month for SpaceNK where they introduced a bunch of new launches and these little tinted balms were one of the products. I love “Demure” for daily use but also tested “Cheeky” and will most likely pick that up soon as it would be perfect for low key evenings out when you don’t want to wear lipstick.

Darphin Fibrogene Line Response Nourishing Cream:

I have never been so impressed by a cream more so than this one. A strong claim, I know but I swear my skin has firmed up after using this at nighttime for a month straight. I was introduced to it at the Darphin Institute while in Paris last month and it has been a game changer for my skin. It works so well to rehydrate my skin while I sleep and when I wake up I truly can’t believe how smooth, plump and more soft my skin feels. Even when applying it I feel like it’s the IRL version of the “pretty filter” on Snapchat because it just diminishes any fine lines as it drenches it with moisture. I love, love, love this stuff. If you suffer from dry skin it is worth every penny.

Darphin Intral Redness Relief Soothing Serum:

This product is also A+ in my book. Another recommendation from the Darphin Institute, this serum does wonders to get my sensitive skin ready in the morning. It instantly soothes and is the most lightweight formula so it feels practically weightless upon application. After I cleanse and tone in the morning, I put 1-2 pumps of this on my face before I do anything else.

Becca First Light Filter Face Primer:

When I am doing a more evening look, this is the primer I’ve been reaching for. (I use this MAC one for everyday use.) It erases any dullness in the skin pretty instantly and I feel like I look more awake and ready for makeup application after applying this!
