Summer has arrived in spectacular fashion (here on the East Coast we’ve had stunning sunsets, warm breezes and perfect temperatures…) and right now I’m all about healthy, dewy & fresh skin and makeup. Sharing a few of my current favorites in this month’s Beauty Edit. Enjoy!
Glossier Haloscope Highlighter:
The reason I love this highlighter is really for its portability. You see one of my favorite highlighters is a powder compact and I’ve now broken TWO of them in recent travels. (Devastation ensued.) So I’ll now be exclusively traveling with this gorgeous illuminator that gives the perfect amount of dewy glow.
NARS Long Hot Summer Eyeshadow Palette:
Ooo la la, can you say perfect shimmery neutral eye? These colors are so pretty blended and I love how you can go soft or glamorous when using the palette. It’s limited edition so if you’re interested, hop to!
Lune + Aster Moonrise Glow & Contour Palette:
Another great way to highlight your face and especially fantastic if you’re new to the contouring game. This little palette gives you the bronzer and the glow-y effect in one compact. Apply the highlighter to your cheekbones, on your brow bone and even above your lips.
Pixi By Petra Glow Peel Pads:
I’ve had Pixi products in my last few beauty posts (April Beauty Edit & May Beauty Edit) because it’s quickly become my favorite drugstore line. I’ve been using these glow pads all week in Nantucket and love how fresh and vibrant they leave your skin feeling while also being super effective in removing any last traces of makeup. I’m a huge fan of toner but that’s harder to travel with so these are perfect to pack in your bags when taking trips. They also have Vitamin E and aloe vera which nourish and soothe which I particularly love on days I’ve had sun exposure.
Odin New York Efflora Eau de Parfum:
Ever since I started wearing this daily, I get constant questions about the scent remarking “what are you wearing? You smell so good.” So, naturally, I’m going to be wearing this till the end of time probably – ha! I’m not one for heavy scents so the fact that Efflora is lightly floral but so very fresh makes it totally up my alley. While on the pricey side for fragrances, it’s true love.

p.s. how to do your makeup when you wake up late and the life-changing dry shampoo you need.
