God, I love boyfriend jeans. Pairing them with stilettos is one of my favorite looks and when my company party was heading out onto the Hudson for  a sunset sail, I decided to use it as an opportunity to go for a nautical inspired look. When it isn’t going to be above 80 in July in New York, a  girl’s gotta embrace it and pull out her denim from the archives. Who is with me!?

I don’t wear a lot of t-shirts but when I spotted this one on Madewell’s Instagram, I went to buy it immediately. (Their latest Sezane collaboration is even better than the first.) Having spent two uninterrupted weeks in New York this month, I feel a renewed sense of love for the city. It’s one of my favorite emotions when I get that marveling sense of I get to live here?

As mentioned before, I’m in the Bay Area this week (follow along on Instagram) before heading up to wine country on Thursday for my BFF’s wedding. I flew in to San Francisco on Saturday and spent the weekend with my best friends and it was all sorts of perfect.

You know those moments when you are surrounded by the people you love most in the world and your heart feels so happy it could burst? That was this weekend for me. It made me even more excited for this coming weekend (which I didn’t think was possible!)
