The weeks are clearly flying because it is already time for the next installment of Noteworthy in where I share some things I’ve been obsessing about. This was supposed to go live last month but here we are October already – whoops! (*Says silent prayer for Fall days to slow down*).
The Flight Deal
I’ll let you in on a little secret: flight deals newsletters have become somewhat of an addiction of mine. It is so fun to see the daily email newsletters of good deals from all around the world and it 100% fuels my wanderlust (probably not in the healthiest way but hey! You never know when a spontaneous trip may suit your fancy!) I also get the Scott’s Cheap Flights alerts via email and he always has great finds.
Yankee Candle Apple Pumpkin Candle
As soon as the first chill in the air blows in, I order this candle from Amazon. It is the ideal Fall smell without being overly sweet. I ordered it three weeks ago in the large, two-wick tumbler size and have already burned through half of it – ha! I usually prefer other candle brands, but this one has me sold on Yankee Candle and is a much better price than the candles I typically burn.
To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before
You guys. I don’t think I’ve been so in love with a movie since The Holiday came out twelve years ago. Let me share a little timeline: To All The Boys I’ve Loved Before was released, my friend texted to say I’d love it and that it reminded her of the RomComs we used to watch in our college dorms and then I proceeded to watch it three times in a week. And I’m not even embarrassed to admit that because the movie is that good. Every friend I’ve told (forced) to watch it has texted me within 24 hours to enthusiastically share how much they, too, loved it.
Now I just need to find my own real life Peter Kavinsky. Have you seen it? Did you love it, too? (Relatedly, did anyone read the book series this is based off of? Should I?) Side note: The soundtrack is also great!
So this brand isn’t new to me and you guys have definitely heard me wax poetic on how much I love this French clothier but I’m pretty sure they do Fall new arrivals better than anybody. The sweaters! The coats! The beautifully detailed blouses! Their latest collection is a real case of “I want one of everything.” Standouts from the new collection that launched this week include this sweater, this sweater, this sweater, this sweater, this blouse, this blouse, this velvet dress (perfect for the holidays!), this coat and this coat.
They tend to sell out their inventory quickly so get while the gettin’ is good! A few things to know about this brand: I wear a Medium or size 38 (button down shirts in a size 40) and they do free returns from the U.S. so don’t worry about something not working out.
. . .
Have you had any good finds worth sharing of late!? Do tell!
p.s. more Noteworthy posts and recent skincare products I finished.
I’m in complete and utter disbelief that it’s already October! It’s crazy how fast time is flying!! I just did the biggest closet clean out of my life (my friend actually said, “Jess, where are all your clothes?!) and I want to fill it with all things Sezane. SO good!
Good on you for the closet clean out! I feel like I’m always doing that but this time of year I go a bit out of control because Fall clothes are just my favorites!!
I am fully obsessssssed with To All the Boys I’ve Loved Before! I loved Set it Up earlier in the summer and could definitely relate to it more, but so wish I had that movie when I was actually a teenager! You should read The Cut article on Noah Centineo – it is glorious.
Definitely going to look up The Cut’s piece! I can’t get enough of that kid. Did you also watch The Kissing Booth?!
