Spring is in full force and I’m back in New York City ready to embrace it all (that is before I head off to Chicago next week!) I have so much to share with you guys from my two weeks in France. My cup runneth over and my heart is so full of joy following the trip.
In the meantime though, I’ll be settling back into NYC life. I’ve actually been slowing pulling together a bucket list of places and experiences I want to check off in the city this summer (remember these recommendations?) as a means of truly soaking up the coming months.
In style related news, pleats are back again (although in my closet I don’t think they ever went anywhere…remember this look, this look and this look?) I’ve started to see pleats everywhere again in stores though and even Bill Cunningham is perpetuating the trend!
For today’s post I teamed up with Zappos and Timberland to show off some of the newer styles they have. I’ve previously only thought of Timberland for more outdoors-y activities but it turns out they have tons of cute styles of sandals and other pairs that check the boxes for being both stylish and comfortable. That’s music to my ears given this time of year I prefer to walk close to everywhere.
These wedges are ideal for weekend wear that can easily take you from your morning coffee pitstop to brunch with girlfriends to an afternoon farmer’s market run. Thanks to the lack of stiletto, they were even perfect for running errands in the cobblestone streets of the Meatpacking before a brief walk on The Highline – one of my favorite weekend activities!
Thanks so much, Annie! This new yorker has got to start adding more color to her wardrobe so this skirt is an attempt! And totally agree re: Timberland – who knew they made so many types of styles!? xx
LOVE the bright skirt! Never would’ve thought to look at Timberland for sandals, but now I totally will. Your shoes are great!
