Last week ended in many tears for me. My heart feels so heavy and sad and the LA devastation is just so hard to wrap your head around. I’ve watched in absolute shock and awe and it’s made focusing on anything else really challenging. Tragedies like this always put things in perspective of course and I’m just doing my part to donate, pray, celebrate micro-joys wherever possible and to tell my loved ones and community I am there for them. I know a subset of you guys are in LA or have family and loved ones in LA – I’m praying for you and I’m sending so many virtual hugs.
For those of you also still looking to help, I found a list of GoFund Me’s with less than 20% of their goal met. I picked several to donate to and I think it’s important to remember that no amount is too big or too small – we are all better when we come together to help. We can do amazing things when we all lift each other up. (I recommend some tissues as you go through these – the titles are utterly heartbreaking and most people are not asking for nearly as much as they will need to rebuild their lives).
I am heading out of town for the weekend and I think a change of scenery, some baby snuggles and good friend time will be a welcome respite. In the meantime, I hope you guys enjoyed this week’s Look Back Week. Thank you for your trust in my recommendations.
I hope you enjoy this week’s edit and have a wonderful weekend!

NOTEWORTHY FINDS TO SHOP:
- I just fully updated The Shop! I cleared out most categories, refreshed many and added sizing to Meghan’s Closet where it may have been missing. Also updated my Shopbop hearts.
- & Other Stories remains one of my favorite affordable brands to shop from and their Winter Sale is full of great finds and they gave me a code for you guys to score an extra 15% off your sale purchases. Use code MEGHAN15 at checkout through 1/19. With the exception of their coats where I often size down, I often size up in this brand’s sweaters and pants and skirts. Also while browsing – their new bag collection looks so good!
- Demellier’s newest bag is gorgeous and so perfect for work if you’re in the market! And this Reformation one is really chic, too.
- Spotted some great new arrivals at Gap! This dress, these jeans (I size down in their denim), this cool coat, this dress, this knit, this sweater dress and these trousers.
- Really loving the glam vibes of this La Ligne Alpine coat.
- Beautiful homewares from a storied French pottery brand to add to your kitchen and beyond.
- One of my favorite small brands, Freda Salvador is doing 20% off winter styles this weekend with code FREDAWINTER and everyone’s favorite water resistant boots are included! These are my Fall and Winter favs. I own the brown suede and black leather.
- This great Madewell belt I own is finally restocked.
- I am eyeing several items from this activewear brand but I’ve never tried it – anyone else!?
- The new Posse drop at Moda has me dreaming of the return of Spring weather. *Love* this dress in particular. I have this dress from the brand (size L) and the silhouette is so good.
- Why yes, I did order this chic new color combo of the Adidas Sambas when I saw they had my size in stock!
- One of my very favorite dresses is now majorly marked down. I own the 8.
