This week was a blur. I had a lot on my social calendar, a lot of meetings and a lot of work to do before I head out on my first international trip of the year next week. The good news is that I’ve been feeling really inspired lately.
After my little work retreat last week and writing down all my goals and assessing both my businesses, I feel good about the changes I am making. It’s hard to believe that tomorrow we welcome February already (although January felt especially long!) Also, in February I’ll be making a special announcement doing something I thought I’d never do and it’s something I’ve been asked to do *a lot*. If you want to be the first to know – it’ll be going out to newsletter subscribers exclusively mid-Feb.
I hope you have a wonderful weekend ahead and enjoy this week’s edit!
The Weekly Edit 1.31
WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:
- I had SUCH fun at the event I hosted in Soho at the Sézane store this past week! I am always blown away by what awesome women are a part of this community and it was such a great group who were shopping up a storm of some of my favorite pieces such as the Betty Cardigan (I wear a L), the Christie blazer (TTS – I wear a 6), the Tomboy button down (I wear the 8), this pretty lace blouse and the Clyde jacket (recommend sizing down – I have the 4!) I wore this great blazer (size 6) and the matching trousers (size 8 and had them hemmed!) and the brand’s new *cropped* striped tee which was a huge hit. It’s perfect for pairing with high-waisted bottoms (size M). You can see my look on HERE. (I also had place a Sezane order the other week and loved everything that came – see those picks below!)
- Made this easy and comforting Pumpkin Streusel Bread.
- Celebrated the one year anniversary of En Route to Rêverie!
READ + LOOK + LOVE:
- Shows to consider watching in 2025.
- A beginner’s guide to French aperitifs.
- Why skiing in Europe can be cheaper. (SO excited to be working with some clients on En Route to Rêverie French Alps trips for later this year – I loved my first experience there last year!)
- 9 of Paris’s best croissants according to French Vogue.
- Baked pasta recipes for cold winter nights.
- What to order in France in Winter.
- An exhibit not to miss in Paris if going before April.
NOTEWORTHY FINDS TO SHOP:
- Lots of newness over on my LTK page.
- The J.Crew new arrivals are SO good. I adore this new color of the Edie top handle bag I own in Ivory, this gorgeous suede belt, this pretty dress that would be great for work, this darling $98 dress, the pretty new Springtime cashmere colors, and this cute hat I snagged for an upcoming trip.
- Psst…use code YOUROCK at checkout for 20% off your Tuckernuck order!!
- This cableknit sweater looks so cozy and I love the dual textures.
- This great striped knit I own by Sezane is finally restocked. Fits TTS – I own the M.
- And in other sweater news, I just added two new Jenni Kayne ones to my collection – this chunky cable knit (sized up to a L so it would be a bit oversized) and this beautiful and timeless v-neck (size L). (I think I’m becoming a V neck person right now!? I’m still very picky about them as I have a larger chest and sometimes V-necks can look awful on me but this one is great!)
- Spotted some items I own and love from Shopbop on sale including these jeans (size 28), these pajamas (size M), this dress and this similar one (both size 8), *the* Isabel Marant belt, these jeans (size 28), this dress (size 8) and my favorite faux leather pants (size 8).
- Spotted: this gorgeous Veronica Beard tuxedo jacket I wore HERE (size 8) now on sale. It’s even more beautiful in person.
- France’s beloved retinol A313 is now available to buy online. I’ve been using this for the past six months religiously after they finally made the texture less sticky and my skin has been all the better for it!
- You guys know how much I love Westman Atelier’s blush in Petal, right!? Well they have launched a whole Petal collection for some of their other bestselling products! I may just go ahead and buy the new collection bundle because of the savings! (The contour stick and Skin Activator remain forever holy grail favorites for me, too btw).
- These Schutz heels are giving me Saint Laurent vibes. So chic.
- Given this Sezane basket bag was one of my favorite purchases of last year, I just bought the larger version to use on some upcoming trips. All sizes sold out early last summer so if you want one I’d grab one now! I got mine and love it and I also ordered this great cropped button down (size 8) which I thought wouldn’t work on me but I actually loved and it’s going to be great to pair with high-waisted skirts and trousers and then this beautiful lace cardigan (sized up to an XL) that is going to be perfect for Spring.
- Tons of great finds at Nordstrom right now! This top would be such a versatile wardrobe piece, the coziest looking lounge set, love the wash on these jeans, a cute little top for transitional dressing, an essential trench coat, a chic watch that caught my eye, and a fun new Samba colorway for spring!
- I am so glad to have this sleep tea back in my life! I forgot how much I love it and how effective I feel it is. I’ve been having a cup every night before bed and been sleeping so much more soundly.
