A very happy Friday from the South of France. I’m enjoying a couple lovely days with my family while here before my work trip starts. It’s the second time I’ve gotten to experience France through my niece’s eyes and it’s just bliss to be honest. If you’re keen to know what my next few weeks hold, it’s been shared with the En Route to Rêverie substack Passport to Rêverie. There’s lots to look forward to!
I hope you enjoy this week’s roundup and have a wonderful weekend!
Weekly Edit 4.18.25
WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:
- I flew home from Paris and had enough time to unpack, repack and sleep in my own bed for the last few nights of the month! I shared excerpts and key takeaways from my time in Paris with the Paris Tourism Board on the En Route to Rêverie Substack. And if you want to shop what I packed for my whirlwind 72 hours of Paris in April – check out my packing list HERE.
- I announced my next event! If you’re in Chicago I would love to meet you next month!
- I shared a (very) detailed look at my Skincare regimen over on Substack (paywall). It details the tools, the products and the treatments that have righted my skin to a place I feel really good about at age 39.
- I did all my appointments pre-trip! A visit to get my brows and lashes done by my go-to Josh, got my hair cut and colored and did my nails. Find all my favorite NYC addresses in my guide to The Best Places to Get Pampered in New York.
READ + LOOK + LOVE:
- The best boxed cake mixes.
- How not to text. THIS!
- What to do when you’re feeling stuck.
- Restaurant lines worth waiting in in NYC.
- I loved my friend Kristina’s essay: Beauty Advice I’d Give My Younger Self.
- NYT’s Wirecutter puts Quince to the test.
- What I would tell my younger self. Loved this.
- An interview with the Printemps NYC designer and architect.
- Food souvenirs to buy in Paris.
NOTEWORTHY FINDS TO SHOP:
- The J.Crew new arrivals are fantastic. I scooped up this dress, this skirt, these pants and this dress. I’m also loving this dress, this clutch, this coat, these linen pants and this dress and was happy to see they brought back a pair of sandals and this tote that I own from seasons past.
- I had so much fun working with Brooklinen again (I’ve been a customer for a decade!) to share what I love about my bedroom and coming home to it. Their only-happens-once-a-year Anniversary Sale is on now so you can score all my bedding at 25% off! I can’t say enough good things about this brand.
- A strikingly perfect column LBD.
- A round up of Abercrombie finds (and 25% off!)
- When I returned home on Sunday I immediately slathered this depuffing face mask all over my face and I always watch in wonder as it works. It is worth every penny IMO.
- A few new Reformation arrivals caught my eye including this chic polka dot number, this subtle floral print dress, and this linen midi dress under $200.
- I’m a Tkees convert after adding these minimalist flip flops to my wardrobe for the beach and pool, so I’m eying these black sandals and these cream sandals for the summer (the price point is so good!)
- A pretty and versatile woven tote under $130.
- I’ve been hearing such good things about the Patrick Ta Glow Balm for a little décolletage and shoulder glow, might need to try this out now that the weather’s warming up.
- Tuckernuck’s iconic Chloe belted shirt dress now comes in a mini version! I scooped it up in navy (size L) and it’s so cute on (and thankfully not *too* short!)
- This cropped tweed jacket is the perfect Spring layer, plus it’s *the* shade of Spring.
- If you’re looking for a special Mother’s Day gift – highly recommend the personalization of a La Ligne sweater. The knits are so special and the monogram addition really shows a lot of thought. My code is MEGHAND10 for a first purchase.
- A selection of lightweight layers for Spring!
- I promptly pre-ordered Emily Henry’s forthcoming newest novel. I love her books!
