Happy Friday! I barely survived this week!? Anyone else feel like it was an absolute whirlwind / sh!t storm?? As such, today I am (gladly! gratefully!) en route to reunite with my BFFs for our annual girls trip and I can’t wait. With everything going on in the world, I need their hugs and laughter with them deeply atm.
I hope you enjoy this week’s edit and have a wonderful weekend.
The Weekly Edit 1.16.26
WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:
- Put together a little 25 piece winter capsule wardrobe + outfit ideas featuring the pieces.
- We have been SO busy with En Route to Rêverie requests to start the year. The calendar turns to January and suddenly everyone wants to be planning their next trip to look forward to! We’re getting largely booked for Spring + Summer so if you’re thinking you’d like to work with me to plan your trip to France or England this year – now is the time to make your request! And a friendly reminder we also offer just Accommodations Bookings and Consult Calls if those are more of what you need help with.
- Jumped on the 2016 walk down memory lane trend and it really gave me a good laugh.
READ + LOOK + LOVE:
- I always love the 52 Places to Go series that the NYT publishes annually. Really fun to see what made the 2026 list!
- Easy high-fiber meals.
- If you’re in Paris between now and mid-March – highly recommend you check out this exhibit. How cool to get a sneak peek!
- The NYT’s most popular recipes of 2025. I saved so many of these to make in the coming weeks. (And this recipe of theirs has been my go-to of late for easy, quick lunches).
- Emily in Paris vs. Actual French Style. (Nodded my head all throughout!)
- How millennials fell out of love with the internet.
- What to buy at the French pharmacy.
- How to be more organized in 2026. (Does anyone else recommend Notion!? I’m intrigued by it!)
- Where to consider traveling to in 2026.
SHOP AND LOOK LOVINGLY:
- Cuyana doesn’t really ever do promotions but their annual Archive sale is a way to score some of their pieces at great discounts. The items I loved the most in the sale include this bag, this jewelry case, this scarf and this chic leather luggage tag.
- Sarah Flint is running 25% off select styles in case you’ve been wanting to add some great new footwear to your rotation for the year ahead.
- Spotted lots of new, good Adidas Sambas colorways.
- It had been a minute since I had browsed Neiman Marcus but I saw a lot of noteworthy pieces in their new arrivals. In particular, these jeans, these sneakers (these, too), this great looking bag by Coach, these boots, this chic swimsuit, this clutch, this sweater jacket, this cute shoulder bag and this great VB blazer. Also I saw they are carrying TWP which is a new-to-me brand that came on my radar last year that I’m keen to try (have any of you tried pieces from them?!)
- The travel case I have been using in my personal item for the last few months is finally restocked! It fits all my must-have essentials I want easily at hand while on the plane.
- This little Staud bag would be such fun for spring and summer.
- I was sent a sample of ROZ’s new scalp scrub and it is indeed blissful. I do think the value of my forever favorite Christophe Robin one is better as for a few more dollars you get 50ml more but I will say the ROZ one wins in the scent department – it smells heavenly and my hair and scalp felt oh so clean and healthy after use.
- In other beauty news, U Beauty has landed at Sephora! This is one of my favorite investment beauty brands because the formulas are so, so effective. In my rotation (nearly) always are the Resurfacing Compound, the Super Hydrator and the Return Eye Concentrate. I want to try the Cleansing Balm next and I just recently got the Neck + Décolleté Concentrate Serum to try because on my list of habits to improve this year is neck + décolleté care!!
- Spotted one of my go-to sneakers on sale.
- These loafers look very similar to my Celine ones. (I have a pair of boots from this brand and the quality is great).
- Well AYR’s latest jeans look right up my alley and perfect for Springtime. (Their jeans are so good! I own four pair now…)
