Well if this post wasn’t a portal into my current mental state…I think it is safe to say I am very, very happy to have a weekend at home in my own home. I can’t wait for long walks in my neighborhood, hot yoga and hopefully a nap tbh. I truly can’t even wrap my head around that next week is April!? Anyone else feeling this way?
I hope you enjoy this week’s edit and have a wonderful weekend!
The Weekly Edit 3.27.26
WHAT I DID THIS WEEK:
- I shared the next edition of my 40 in 40 list!
- I launched the Spring-Summer Seasonal Favorites category of The Shop! A fresh new edit for the months ahead.
- Shared a little vlog from my time in London last weekend.
- I finally went to The Frick! I’d been itching to go since it re-opened after a (many, many year) renovation and it remains one of my favorite museums in NYC. Highly recommend.
- I had a meeting with Auberge to get a sneak peek of their London hotel opening later this year and it looks absolutely stunning. I cannot wait to see it IRL and if you’re interested in staying there when it opens – be in touch via En Route to Rêverie.
READ + LOOK + LOVE:
- The best street style from Paris Fashion Week. Always love these roundups!
- Legendary dishes worth traveling America for.
- How to pitch yourself to tell your story.
- How to make your home feel like a boutique hotel.
- If you were only buying ten things for Spring – make it these.
- When your job feels like your whole identity.
- An inexpensive London souvenir for your next trip.
- 15 wellness spots in Paris to discover.
SHOP AND LOOK LOVINGLY:
- Crown Affair has (at last!) released a travel size version of their cult-status Dry Shampoo! I ordered it immediately as I prefer a pump. And while you’re shopping – if you don’t already have their towel please do yourself a favor and get it! Use code WITWHIMSY15 for 15% off your order!
- I’ve majorly got Spring shoes on the brain – I am eyeing these, these, these, these, these (I have the silver and love them – bought a couple years ago) and these.
- In other shoe news, Dolce Vita has some very good styles right now (and you can’t beat their price point). I bought these and these to try!
- Amazon is running their Spring sale and there’s some good inclusions like this lux coffee maker, these cute pajamas, a favorite micellar water, my favorite rugs (I have two in my home and I’ve been happy with them for 4+ years!), this Dyson vacuum (25% off!), Apple Watches, my forever favorite pimple patches (I bought two more boxes while on sale!), my favorite cleansing balm, my favorite electrolytes, the Dyson blow dryer (over 30% off!), my go-to crew socks, this shampoo I’ve been absolutely loving lately, my nightly retinoid that keeps my skin looking good, the newest Kindle, the power bank I always have at the ready and my beloved travel umbrella.
- If you’re also a U Beauty fan, their site is 20% off right now (+ free shipping)! A great time to restock on these $$$ (but very, very good) products. I particularly love the U Beauty Super Hydrator– truly so good for dry skin and the Resurfacing Compound which adds radiance back in.
- Ok wow to this Zara suede jacket. So utterly chic. And this reversible trench is also darling.
- If you like a pop of color when it comes to your shoes, I got some direct mail from Alex Mill and saw the rainbow of hues of this ballerina that I thought were darling for the new season. While you’re shopping their site – this sweater looks perfect for Spring as well.
- The new arrivals from Doen are so, so pretty. My favorites include this dress and this dress and this dress, these jeans, this butter yellow cardigan, these fun pants and then this dress and this dress as well.
- Warmer weather is coming and so is raffia bag season hence I have been scouring Vestiaire Collective’s listings of raffia bags for a fun new one for summer travels ahead.
- I love my PlugBug so much as it eliminated annoying cords in my kitchen where I usually charge my phone. Highly recommend it as a little upgrade and saw it’s on slight markdown at the moment.
- J.Crew is doing 40% off! My favorites from their current collection include these easy, breezy pants, this pretty top, this designer looking crochet cover up, these vintage inspired earrings, this cute dress that would be good for work, this darling cardigan, this swimsuit (my friend who works for J.Crew says it’s the best, most flattering suit!), this cashmere tee and this springtime jacket.
